Yes to new coffee place near office @equatecoffee!

Will definitely be back for their coffee, strong and well balanced with milk. White - Tall ($5.50).

They have small pastries available as well. Mount Ondeh ($7) and Canelé ($4).

Second time is the charm! Visited the two chefs outlet at bishan years ago and didn't quite fancy it. Remembered that I ate the milk powder pork rib and went nahh what's so nice about this thing.

Fast forward a few years, visited the commonwealth outlet this time. Hesitated whether to get the milk powder pork ribs, and went ahead with ordering it. Turns out to be a good choice because this time round we greatly enjoyed it! Sweet milk powder with super soft pork ribs with no bones! Plus all the food was served quite fast and hot! Other dishes which we ordered include the sweet and sour fish, hei zo meat roll, seafood tofu and chaotah beehoon! We wanted to orfer the claypot tofu initially but it was not available when we visited.

Dined here on a Saturday night. Queue was relatively long but fast moving. And btw, no point calling to reserve seats beforehand. We called to reserve, but ended up we still had to queue up like everyone else. So no need to waste your time to call. Just head there early to queue. 😅They will take your order for the dishes before you are seated.

The bill for this meal for 4 pax was only $43.5! Affordable and good tzechar. Great for family gatherings!

We are in LAK 🍀, cuz we can always count on @the.blueginger to serve up authentic Peranakan dishes! 🤩 A more intense dry rendition of the original soup-based laksa, their Kerabu Laksa ($15++) presents strands of smooth thick bee hoon 🍜 cloaked in a punchy homemade rempah redolent of lemongrass, galangal, turmeric & belachan among other ingredients. 🤤

With the rich coconutty 🥥 curry broth that coats the bee hoon lusciously, this rendition of laksa was flavourful without being surfeiting! 😋 Topped with prawns 🦐, chicken shreds, eggs 🍳 & tofu puffs, this made such a satisfying bowl! 👍🏻

For those who can't handle spice well 🌶, fret not - this is very manageable with just a mild spice! 👌🏻 Add their sambal chilli for more shiok-ness! 🔥 Oh, their homemade achar was super yummy too!

Hidden in the City Gate mall along Beach Road, you'll be surprised to find this restaurant serving up fresh seafood aboard an airline exprerience! Great for dates and intimate gatherings, you won't go wrong ther Business Class 5-Course Menu. We'd definitely recommend the Half Boston Lobster Aglio e Olio ($42) for lunch mains or the Half Boston Lobster ($68) baked with Garlic Butter Sauce for their dinner mains. Not forgetting our vegetarian friends, as they serve Marinara Vegan Lobster Conchiglie ($68) and Half Vegan Lobster Aglio e Olio ($30). Don't forget to reserve a spot to avoid any disappointments!

Extremely earthy earl grey infused soft serve - a creamy in texture and not overly sweet. Comes w choice of fruit pebbles, chocolate rice etc toppings (pick only one!) A lil’ sad that they ran out of the charcoal cones on the day of visit (we visited pretty late into the evening; slightly before closing hours). Hoping for better luck next time!

I went for this via Eatigo and paid $8.20 for this bowl of Spicy Shoyu Ramen [Before discount: $12.90].

Spice level is acceptable, and didn’t mask the flavour of the shoyu. The noodles were quite average in my opinion. The service was slightly tardy, but I think it was because they were short on manpower today. I liked that there was a lot of minced meat in my soup so I felt that I had sufficient protein in my meal. The char siew was fatty, and well, fats is goodness.

The meat was not the melt-in-your-mouth kind of delicious, and the noodles were so-so, but the pretty substantial bowl of soupy ramen for the price of less than $10 made up for the parts that fell short of expectations.

Just a stone's throw away from King Albert Park MRT, you'll find this alfresco bistro & bakery housed in KAP mall. Full of chill vibes and good bites, pop on by for a cuppa coffee, pastries and signature Sourdough Loaf ($9) freshly baked every monrning! Some of their crowd favourites include the Carrot Cake ($6), which was "pretty yummy, perfect if you prefer the less-sweet type of cakes with a stronger taste of spice. It was moist and light, not the dense kind, which was great for a tea snack." according to Burppler Audrey & Cady.

It's always brunch time at this quaint cafe along Roberston Quay! Fuel up with their Brekkie of Champions ($24.50), with a platter of eggs any style, maple bacon, vine tomatoes, roast mushrooms, baked beans, sidecar sausage and crispy, fluffy brioche toast or opt for their classic Eggs Benedict Rodyk Style ($21.50) served with smoked salmon. Your sweet tooth will rejoice with the Toby's French Toast ($16.50) which sees eggy brioche bread topped with berries compote and served with maple syrup and espresso bacon.

Following the popularity of their first outlet in Tampines, sweet tooth lovers will surely enjoy their after meal desserts at this ice cream cafe along Race Course Road. At an additional $3/$4, you'll get to enjoy your favourite scoop of ice cream atop their specialty Maple Waffle ($6) or crowd favourite Ondeh Waffle ($9). Noteworthy ice cream flavours include the Dark Gianduia, Speculoos, Berries Cheesecake and instagrammable Unicorn Pop, reminiscent of our childhood favourite Paddlepop.

Located near Sentosa Cove, find this cozy cafe serving up breakfast and bunch at Quayside Isle. From the classic Eggs Benedict ($15) to Shakshouka ($20) and Falafel Wrap ($19), you'll find a variety of fusion cuisine here and if you're as much a fan of halloumi cheese as Burppler Jacelyn See, then you'll have to order the Halloumi & Eggs ($20), with "Creamy scrambled eggs, juicy mushrooms, sautéed spinach and the plump tomato came together nicely with the pita bread served on the side :)".
