The Fiery Crab Shrimp Aglio Olio has a pretty impressive title, and it actually lives up to the hype. Besides the half dozen bouncy, fabulously fresh shrimp that’ve been seared superbly, there’s a fair bit of shredded crab claw meat lurking within the lusciously lubricated linguine. Delivering on the ‘fiery’ part of the name is an abundance of dried chili flakes that’ll turn up the heat. You will be reaching for a cold drink to alleviate the heat, and it’s quite coincidental that Beer Basket just so happens to sell ice cold beers. Hmm. Really gets my noggin’ joggin’.
So, once Lockdown 2: Electric Boogaloo is over, you must head on down to Beer Basket and rob them with your accomplice, Burpple Beyond. Once more, thanks for the hospitality, @beerbasketkatong & @burpple!
Food was good had the duck tagliatelle, beef steak and desserts.
A good place for hangouts.
Brunch was really good here. Love the French Toast, although it was sweet for a morning brunch but it’s good for a desserts.
Egg royal was on point with the hollandaise sauce.
❤️
This features the signature Indian flatbread, stretched, tossed, and smashed, then pan-fried till crisp flaky on the outside and doughy chewy on the inside, with bready sweet savoury flavour.
.
The prata is garnished with creamy black truffle paste and fluffy bits of egg mimosa (an egg that has been fully boiled, shelled, then crumbled into itself), which lends robust earthy eggy sweet savoury flavour.
.
Loved every bite of this, yum.

Tried the degustation menu on offer in burpple. The portions served were what one expects of fine dining establishments. You won't leave feeling hungry, but you won't be very full either.
The star of the five course meal was their spring lamb chop. The meal worked out to be around $120 per couple or $60 per pax. The rest of the courses were pretty good (save for the chowder which was alright). The service staff were very attentive as well.
Would recommend to give this place a try for the experience and the ambience.
The batter of the prawn/pork/chicken are very light and crispy. The miso soup is 1 of a kind that includes: mushroom, meat, carrot, radish n onion.
Situated above machi machi, the shop was newly opened a week ago and it has an ongoing 10% off opening promotion. It is affordable even without the burpple discount. Worth checking out 👍
Bought this for my mum so I didnt drink much! But at 25% sugar level the drink is actually not very sweet which is great. (Especially how caramel flavoured drinks risk to be overwhelmingly sweet)
The tea flavour is quite prominent too! My mum likes it :) She said there were too many pearls but i feel that its alright hahaha (i really like their honey pearls)
Overall idk im not a caramel kind of person so i wont repurchase, but if you are your order wont go wrong!
At$14.90 +, it comes with a soup/salad, main, dessert and a snapple drink. The portions were generous and overall we had a pleasant meal.
