Appreciate the generous serving of “salad” with grilled chicken at $6.80, making this an affordable option in the basement of AMK Hub. It sure helps that this stall is halal certified which means more food options for our Muslim friends :)

The combination of the ingredients seems quite strange though. The chicken lacks seasoning, the pumpkin mash is super sweet, the cucumber is cold and the roasted potatoes have a weird tasting sauce poured over it. Still, will recommend to try this and to share with a friend!

I love the wide selection that joysticks offers. Their nacho luncheon meat mantou is a must have. Among all the sauces, sambal belachan chilli is my favourite to pair with. Also, the broccoli is crazy delicious. I thought it’ll be boring but tastes like Tao Kae Noi. Damn sinful and worth all the calories!

They use “ter hoong” (small intestines) and fry it till really aromatic. I am fine with the chewiness but older folks might find it too hard. There were plenty of crispy, wispy ribbons of lemongrass and garlic in there as well, which I loved munching on.

New takeaway stall jus outside Amk Hub. Both burgers are good. Prefer the beef burger to the chicken one. Beef has a bit more punch due to the savoury cheese. Chicken has a big piece of juicy patty and has a crisp to it, pity that some corners of the chicken are too hard. Onion rings are perfect! Better burgers than Mac and BK.

The dedication to continue a family tradition, sacrifices made and innovations embraced. Each of these freshly steamed rice Kueh with palm sugar filling was such a joy to the palate.

It's a hidden gem! Situated very ulu, would not have chanced upon it without having read the reviews. It is very good. Good taste. Good value for money.

I had to try something that caused a stir overseas and boasts this way. Great example of how the attention to a burger should not be only the patty. Although the fried chicken was fine, the magic of this burger was how individual parts came together. The buttered bun was underestimated, the spicy Cajun sauce boosted it without stealing the show, while the semi-pickled cucumber balanced the umami. Delightful.
