A great dining experience and fantastic food!
For appetizers we had the roasted bone marrow, grilled ox tongue, grilled octopus and uni, lardo & caviar The grilled ox tongue is a must try – savory, generously garnished and umami. The Uni Lardo Caviar with sourdough toast was a top choice and the octopus was tender and paired beautifully with the chorizo stew.
For our main course, we had the black opal wagyu zabuton MS6/7 and 2GR full blood wagyu rib cap MS8/9. This was definitely our favourite dish for the night as it was perfectly medium rare, and paired wonderfully with the scampi butter. The portion was very generous and my bf enjoyed it! We also ordered the Mac & Cheese and Beef Heart Tomato for sharing, both of which were incredibly tasty.
For dessert we had the eton mess and burnt blue cheese cake. I really enjoyed the Eton Mess – it was a beautiful dish with wild flowers that came together really well. The blend of cream, raspberry and meringues was a pleasant surprise.
We enjoyed our meal thoroughly, and hope to come back again soon!
Ordered the Journey to the Yeast ribs. Really creative combination of sauce that’s different from the other ribs we’ve tried. Tender and juicy, every bite was an eye opening wonder. Loved it, would come back to try the other flavours!
