Crispy Enoki Mushroom ($5.20)
We got this with plum seasoning, and altho the mushroom was crispy, the seasoning was overpoweringly sweet & sour.

Chicken Mee Sua ($5.50)
This was part of @burpple 1-1, and although the flavour of the gravy here was not bad, it was way too salty for our liking, and I didn't like that the mee sua was v nua/ soggy here.

[+886 Taiwanese Bistro]
I'm a huge fan of Taiwanese food (especially Lu Rou Fan), so I definitely couldn't give @886bistro a miss! They are also on @burpple 1-1, but only for selected mains & sides!

Ah Bao Braised Pork Rice ($5.80)
Really tempted by the amount of sauce given, but honestly can't help but compare with @eat3bowls since it was of similar price and portion. This definitely loses out in terms of flavour and fragrance, and felt that some pork pieces were slightly dryer as opposed to the really soft and easy to eat ones at @eat3bowls.

*P.S. this dish wasn't part of the 1-1 deal!

Mazesoba with all Toppings ($16.80++)
If you're up to try all the toppings, go ahead and order this! This bowl comes with 2 charsiew, 1 Chicken Kaarage (Ala Carte $4.50/ 3pc) which was really crispy, and 1 pork belly cube which was pretty flavourful!

* All mazesoba comes with free flow barley tea and eggs, and a bowl of soup (non-refillable).

Are you a fan of mazesoba? How about the idea of free upsize noodles? ๐Ÿ˜‰

Grilled Cheese with Cod Roe Mazesoba ($17.30++)
Personally a huge fan of mazesoba, which some term as "Japanese Bak Chor Mee" ๐Ÿคฃ. Honestly my first time trying Cheese Mazesoba, and I have to say I quite enjoyed it! As a fan of cheese, I didn't find it to be extremely jelak, and I enjoyed the flavour combination for this dish! Only qualm is that the cheese made the noodles stick together quite a bit, and I'd prefer for the Char Siew to be more tender and flavourful!

Cold Taro ($4.80)
This was a pretty liquidy taro dessert, which is closer to a taro sago, where you'd find mashed taro bits, instead of an orhnee paste.

Homemade Mochi ($2.20 each)
โ€ข Earl grey scented w/ Yam Filling
โ€ข Matcha scented w/ Red Bean Filling
โ€ข Oolong scented w/ Chocolate Filling

Their housemade Mochis have a slightly thicker skin, and I recalled the lavender taste to overpower the earl grey, although some would enjoy!

Matcha and Oolong wasn't really evident as well, you mostly get the flavour from the fillings.

Radish 'Cai Po' Egg Omelette ($10)
This is a much denser and drier omelette as opposed to fluffy and moist ones, you can try to pair with the chilli provided/ grilled fish sauce for more flavour!

Another side dish we tried was their Chilled Tofu with Century Egg and Pork Floss - housemade and available at $3 each. Pretty silky one here, and would be for tofu lovers!

Premium Soup Set ($32.80)
The same signature soup is used for both Signature and Premium, and is brewed in collaboration with รo Broth, with no MSG, dairy and preservatives!

The Premium soup is served with more seafood items including half lobster, whole abalone and scallop!

Signature Soup ($12.80)
The signature soup is brewed in collaboration with รo Broth, with no MSG, dairy and preservatives!

Signature Soup features sliced red snapper fish, prawn, clams, tofu, vegetables and a housemade minced pork patty.

Honestly really surprised that no milk is added to their soup at all - the milky colour/ flavour actually comes from the fishโ€™s gelatinous belly fat, pork bones and fresh clams, distilled into a creamy consistency. This is definitely great for those with dairy sensitivities.

Would recommend adding on the crispy rice for a paofan experience, because it was fragrant with a strong roasted flavour and was really crispy!

(+$4) to the Signature Soup for a set which comes with rice/noodles, two side dishes (marinated chilled tomatoes and oriental salad) and a glass of tomato plum soda!

Congrats @Milkfishsg on your second outlet at Millenia Walk!

Grilled Whole Milkfish Belly
A la carte ($19.00) / Grilled Fish Set ($23.80). People who are familiar with milkfish would know that it comes with >200 bones but they serve theirs deboned. Personally liked the sauce that came along with the fish!
