DRINKS
Bubble milk tea (0%) ($3.90)
Pearl were all mini, and were q chewy. Most flavour only came from the pearls tho!
Grass jelly milk tea (0%) ($4.90)
Bubble green tea (0%) ($3.90)
Q like their green tea, there's a nice floral fragrance - altho it kinda reminds of Ayataka 😂.
Honey green tea w/o pearl (50%) ($4.90)
Could taste a light honey flavour with the green tea.
This was prob my favourite dish! There's this slightly sweet sauce that reminds of teriyaki sauce?! The chicken was also pretty tender.
Sauce was decent, and the pork belly was pretty fatty, so you gotta enjoy fatty meat to enjoy this!
The garlic taste was v strong here! The noodles here were really thick as you'd expect from udon.
Been seeing many talk about their food recently, and finally went to their Serangoon outlet to try!
MAINS
Sesame Cold Noodles ($7)
Those who like the Kewpie Jap sesame sauce will like this, it's really strong and pretty fragrant, albeit a little too salty!
Thick Toast Crispy Butter ($4.50)
This was a skip for me, because altho the toast was crispy, it was pretty dry. Most of the flavour comes only from the top of the toast - the other flavours might have been better.
Milk Tea ($2.50)
Pretty disappointed with this as I ordered it expecting pretty good Taiwanese Tea, but turned out to be quite bland.
Really comforting and enjoyable food that really satisfied my Taiwanese bfast cravings despite these 2 misses, and an experience that's worth going for in place of travelling to Taiwan in the meantime.
Overall Rating: 8/10
First time trying noodles with such a texture, it's slightly chewy and soft (?), But I particularly liked the broth which was so strong in the bonito flavour! Definitely could slurp everything up! ðŸ¤
NGL it's not easy to find good scallion pancake in Sg, with many not hitting the mark of being both crispy and flavourful, but this one definitely impressed! Reminded me of Taiwanese street food while I was eating this, and definitely worth trying too!
[True Breakfast]
Are you craving for Taiwanese food but can't get an authentic experience because we can't travel to Taiwan yet?
@truebreakfast is definitely an option to consider, which is located at the basement of Cuppage Plaza, serving really hearty Taiwanese food!
Pork floss & egg omelette ($5.80)
Although it's not the crispy kind some might expect, this was soft and slightly chewy instead, with it being really flavourful with some sweet-savoury sauce in the middle, I enjoyed it!
Taiwanese popcorn chicken was also crispy on the outside with pretty tender meat that's well-seasoned! Quite an enjoyable one altho I couldn't really finish everything myself ðŸ¤.
This is definitely affordable, comforting and satisfying food that's worth a visit!

Been having Taiwanese food quite a bit recently and I'm still not sick of it! Saw pretty good reviews of this Taiwanese store @wenlitaiwanesefood at Golden Mile Food Centre previously and finally got to try it!
Braised Pork Rice Set ($6.80)
This set comes with Taiwanese Braised Pork Rice ($3.50 ala carte), and Homemade Taiwanese Popcorn Chicken (â…“ Serving), Soft-boiled Egg ($1.50 ala carte).
Oh the sauce was really flavourful, and the braised pork was soft and really easy to eat! Definitely enjoyed this bowl of luroufan 🤤.
They coated a variety of mushrooms including enoki, king oyster, etc in batter and fried them. Wouldn't mind for it to be even crispier!
Overall an affordable and comforting option for luroufan, and there's definitely potential and room for improvement for the other dishes!
