Hearty Meals

Love this nasi lemak! Would definitely return again to try other nasi lemak options here. The chicken was big, the meat was tender and flavourful. A little spicy, sweet and taste like coconut milk. The egg was a little runny inside - like ramen egg - yums! The achar complements the dish well, its sour and spicy taste balances the coconut milk sauce. The ikan bilis and peanut was nice and crispy too!

It was good but sadly cannot be compared to the ones overseas. Huge portion so it's good for sharing too.

Huge pork knuckle that is worth the money! I like the crispy skin alot although it gets jelat and too oily at the end of the meal. The meat was tender and enough for two people to share. We didnt really eat the two sides that came with it though.

Truffle fries were okay! Wouldn't particularly recommend. But do eat it quickly when it's hot.

Enjoyed the pork ribs alot. Tender and flavourful. Definitely worth the trip!

The beef quesadilla was served hot and crispy, with cheese oozing out from each slice 🤤 As for arroz con pollo, the grilled chicken needs a double thumbs up 👍 👍 There was a distinct charred taste like satay but even more flavourful and tender. Goes well with the mexican rice and tomato base.

Went on Friday night and ordered the ribeye steak and paella for two for sharing. They served the paella first (which I do not recommend as it just tastes like mussels + prawns + rice and serving size is not enough for two and not worth the price). Waited for nearly half an hour before asking the server about our steak. Was only told then that the steak order was not keyed in and we will need to wait twenty minutes more... so we left feeling hungry.

Plump and firm tiger prawns with fragrant garlic. Highly recommend! Dip the bread into the sauce and put some garlic on top too.

Ordered the one for one 20 skewers i.e. 40 skewers in total. Had a blast eating the different options in different seasoning, although we werent sure which was which when the skewers were served. Especially enjoyed the midwing and the enoki wrapped skewers! Quite oily though, so recommend to get a drink to "clear" the grease.

Ordered the 15 pcs dumplings party to try the different flavours and I enjoyed them all! Special shoutout to the crab and prawn dumpling flavour as it was unique and delicious. Also ate the miso mushroom noodles and wiped the bowl clean. Will come again at the appropriate timing so that i can use the burpple deal next time.

Finally got to eat at Oriole but forgot to check and the one for one deal was no longer available... we still ate there. I got the fish and chips while my partner got the pork ribs. Nothing special about the fish and chips except that it was quite a big serving. Whereas the pork ribs reminded me of ba kut teh with dark soya sauce and chilli. I enjoyed the latter more.

Got the fried snapper and was shocked at the huge serving size! Would recommend to share between two people as the fried batter becomes more jelat the more you eat it. Other than that, the fish was sweet and firm! Also note that they dont serve tap water for dinner - we had to purchase a $5 sparkling water instead.
