Food is okay but the ingredients are very fresh. The Strawberry Shortcake is just nice and not too sweet. A little disappointing with the coffee because the aroma is not very strong. But it is really not very sweet when I ask for less sweet.
A food place that seems like a drinks place - that's how I would describe Abundance. The food is storied, but they're like bar food and get overshadowed by the booze. We were a little late and most food was sold out, so paid $4 for 斋鹅 hahaha.

Just upon this newly-introduced item at Durian Lab Café during our most recent visit there — initially just wanting to grab some of their durian-infused bakes which is a collaboration between them and Keong Saik Bakery, as well as Flor Patisserie, but found ourselves lucky to have one of these which has just been officially launched a couple of days ago.
I think I have had many sago-based desserts but the MSW Durian Sago here is probably my favourite thus far. The base is as good as it gets — that base which features concentrated MSW durian is made in-house; exceptionally smooth and velvety, yet rich and carries an evident note of the pungent fruit, all that with a scoop of MSW durian paste being added over the top that helps to further enhance the flavour profile, whilst providing a fibrous texture to the dessert. I liked how the shaved ice comes thoughtfully over the base rather than inside the base itself; helps to add a bit of texture without diluting the strong aroma of the king of fruits, while it also compliments the chewy sago as well.
Wasn’t really expecting much out of this initially, but let’s just say I am pretty sold by it — definitely something that would appease every durian lover out there considering how rich and satisfying this was with its strong flavours of the fruit. Definitely something I will crave for, and also order yet again when I make my visits here!
