Alfredo long pasta, chilli flakes extra virgin olive oil, parmesan, sous vide egg, white button mushroom and truffle pate

loved this more than the ragu, creamy thick and satisfyingly savoury sauce sticks to the pasta so well. that sous vide egg survived delivery whee!

A premium version but it's darn good! Loved the wagyu beef slices (and they were generous with portion too!), plus the gooey sauce that stayed that way until the bowl's finished. None of that stuff that turns watery halfway through.

Their garlic rice ($7) was really good & cheap compared to other japanese restaurants. Although the total bill came out to be a bit hefty, the whole experience was worrh it. There was 5 different type of beef to try. Great to try out their different cuts.

One of my fav places to get my korean fried chicken fix! Skin is super crispy and the meat is so tender! Do not recommend the mac & cheese. It’s bland and tasteless and so not worth $9.90 I think even I can make nicer mac & cheese lol.

For a single portion it faired pretty small. First time trying mac & cheese combined with seafood, and it’s not bad, though I would think it paired better with meat and bacon instead. The mac & Cheese was on the more watery and milky texture, rather than one that was thick and cheesy. I would think it boils down to one’s palate when it comes to this sizzling plate of mac & cheese. Personally, I was not wow-ed and found it rather mediocre, especially with the price and portion.

Experienced a wonderful date night at Fat Belly Social Steakhouse! We went on a weekday night so it was quieter, the service and ambiance of the restaurant were excellent and our server made sure we were well taken care of and comfortable.

We started off with the caviar, Uni & Lardo sourdough toast along with the grilled octopus & chorizo stew. The appetisers were light and tasty! I was worried about the sourdough toast being too strong-flavoured with the caviar and Umi top but I was pleasantly surprised that the taste was perfectly balanced.

The octopus was nicely grilled, giving off a smoky “wok-hei” ness with every bite. It was also very tender.

Then, we had the steak. Oh my god, the steak. I don’t think any earthly description or picture can do that dish justice. It smelled heavenly, and when I took my first bite I was stunned by how succulent the cut was. Smooth like butter, the meat melts in your mouth like our polar ice caps. Hands down the best steak I’ve ever had in my life. The sauces provided were good but I preferred the meat by itself for the original taste. The rib cap had a sophisticated taste, with the layers of fat providing a shifting taste profile as you chew.

We also had the Crusted mac and cheese with truffle oil. Again, wow. Best iteration of the dish I’ve ever had. The smell alone is enough to warm your soul. It was delicious and surprisingly, despite the truffle and blue cheese, it didn’t get “gelat”.

Lastly we finished our meal with the Eton Mess. What a misnomer! Eton mess? More like Eton best. The dessert looked beautiful and after a heavy meal this was the perfect way to end. The tartness of the passion fruit perfectly complimented the light sweetness of the ice cream and whipped cream. I found myself musing that the real mess is the fact that this dessert isn’t more common. I love it.

I went to this amazing steak place at Serene Center with a friend. We had a full course meal, with prawn for starters, followed by the steak and sides, and finished it off with dessert. The entire meal looks and tastes good, 10/10 would recommend. Staff were also really friendly and even explained the cuts of meat to us hahaha. A must try for every steak lover!

This was sooooo good 💯 the mentaiko sauce was flavourful and salty and perfect it went v well w the fragrant truffle rice mixed w Furikake. The abit i salmon was soft n well-torched on the top, yet still abit raw at the bottom which I loved. Honestly the truffle rice could well be eaten on its own, it alr tastes rather good by itself. Loved the wakame and the jellyfish, they added a refreshing touch to the dish. Would defo order again foshure 🤩

Meat sauce(Ragu) had a slight tang, pasta texture was decent. If I'm not wrong they replaced liver w foie gras, very crispy outside and creamy inside, but there was a taste which I didn't like at all, maybe cos I rarely eat foie. Overall a competent rendition

The bacon bits is somewhat of a scam because you're really kind of forced to add it, you need a little bit of contrast. So that wasn't super value for money

Nonetheless this was absolutely delicious. Creamy, rich, there's some umami from the cheese, yet it wasn't too jelat. Pasta was on point as well. I haven't had too many gourmet Mac and cheese, or even Mac and cheese tbh, so this is definitely the best I've had so far. Nonetheless, it's worth it

Even tho I say it's not too jelat, probably best to split with someone lol
