This is the most expensive hainanese style chicken rice you can get in Singapore. In terms of taste, i would definitely rank it among the better chicken rice i’ve tasted; the chicken is smooth & tender, rice very fragrant and the chilli is solid. But for that price, i will probably not be returning so soon as there are much cheaper alternatives elsewhere.

Since I was in the Bukit Gombak area, I decided to check out this reputable Hainanese chicken rice stall for lunch. You don’t have to queue and wait, you just tell them where you are seated when you are ordering and they will deliver the food to you. The chicken was really yummy! It was so smooth, juicy and tender, and it came with bean sprouts too! Wasn’t a fan of the rice though, it was not as fragrant as I would have liked. Overall, still a really good chicken rice place that I would visit again if I’m in the area. Heard their sesame chicken and roasted meats are good, will probably try those the next time.

I have always wanted to try the fried chicken wings from this stall after seeing so many good reviews and I wasn’t disappointed when I finally tried it!

There was a long queue on the night of my visit and I waited around 20 mins for my food and I must say it was well worth the wait! The fried chicken was delicious with crispy skin and juicy meat, while the rice was really fragrant! The chilli sauce was solid too, goes so well with the savoury taste of the fried chicken batter! They sell the fried chicken wings individually too at $1.40 per piece.

We ‘accidentally’ stumbled upon this chicken rice stall located at Mayflower Market & Food Centre when the wanton mee stall we wanted to try was closed for the day and we were surprised by how good the chicken rice tasted.

The rice was very fragrant and not clumpy while the chicken (we asked for chicken thigh) was smooth, tender and juicy. This was certainly an enjoyable meal and is definitely a hidden gem in the Ang Mo Kio area.

Stall Name: Mandarin Hainan Chicken Rice

Tian Tian is one of my favourite hainanese chicken rice stalls in Singapore, the standard is consistently good. Those smooth tender chicken and fragrant rice are truly a delight!

Many Singaporeans consider the hainanese chicken rice here (the original branch at Yishun) to be among the best you can get in Singapore. Having recently tried it myself for the very first time (I’m late to the party i know), i do agree that they are definitely one of the better ones around.

Tender succulent boneless chicken drenched in tasty sauce accompanied with fragrant moist rice, it was a delightful meal.

If you’re looking for a cheap & good option for hainanese chicken rice in the Chinatown area, this is a good choice. The rice is fragrant, while the chicken tender & smooth.

The hainanese chicken rice here is yummy! Helmed by the former head chef of Tian Tian Hainanese Chicken Rice, the chicken rice served here is fragrant & not too oily, paired with smooth & tender chicken. Don’t forget the chili too!

Super love the chicken rice here. The fragrant tasty rice is complimented by the tender, smooth & juicy chicken which simply makes this one of the must try food stalls in the Bukit Batok area.

Simply one of the best hainanese chicken rice in Singapore, their chicken is so smooth and yummy!
