A dim sum place that runs 24 hours for the owls who crave dim sum late at night. Although the dim sum here isn’t the best, they are pretty affordable with a wide range of items on the menu.

Fried Prawn Dumpling 》$4.80
Fried Banana with Mango Roll 》$4
Siew Mai 》$3.80
Glutinous Rice with Groundnuts 》$3

We ordered the char siew and prawn chee cheong fun that came doused in homemade soya sauce with a dollop of sambal belacan and then sprinkled with sesame seeds. The rice rolls were thin and silky smooth with a melt in the mouth texture.

They are generous with the amount of char siew placed in their rice rolls and this is more sweet and savoury in flavour coming from the char siew. I personally prefer the prawn rice roll that is lighter in flavour with fresh and crunchy prawns wrapped in there.

Char Siew 》$4
Prawn 》$5

Juicy and tender steamed pork ribs in black bean sauce were pretty good and taste above average. The prawns in har gow were good but the skin was on the thicker side which could be better if it is half the thickness. Steamed rice roll with shrimp came with a good amount of tasty soya sauce but the rice rolls were thicker than the usual. The custard bun was good with smooth and runny custard flowing in the bun.

The dim sum is reasonably priced but don’t expect outstanding HK-style dim sum or even decent service. I was assigned to a table with dishes not cleared and prompted to proceed to make my order first. The staff at the counter kept taking orders while no one bothers to clean the table despite numerous requests and it was left like this till our order arrives 20mins later. The beverage was also not served beforehand and I had to ask again when the food is served. I had to cancel some orders where they did not arrive when I’m done with the food and beverage served. This seems like a severe lack of manpower and I hope they get this fixed soon ☹️

Pork Ribs 》$4.20
Har Gow 》$4.50
Steamed Rice Roll with Shrimp 》$4.2

Crunchy in every bite with succulent shrimps and generous chunks of sweet radish. Although crispy and crunchy, I find it too oily and sinful, not exactly worth the calories 》$6.50

Rice rolls with scallop drenched in a sweet and savoury sauce, topped with fried shallots and sambal chilli. The freshly made chee cheong fun is so soft, silky smooth and firm that I don't mind having it plain with the savoury sauce and sambal chilli 》$3.50

These chee cheong fun are made to order. The prawn chee cheong fun has a smooth texture with prawns and crunchy bits of shredded vegetables, served on a plate with sweet soya sauce and topped with sesame seeds. It's not common to have vegetables in prawn chee cheong fun and although it added a different texture to it, I prefer to have it plain 》$3

Freshly made and reasonably priced chee cheong fun with flavours such as the usual with chicken, mushroom, BBQ pork (char siew) and prawn. There were also other options like turnip, egg, century egg, otah, scallop and pig liver. Each flavour was affordably priced between $2.50 - $3.50 for 2 rolls.

We ordered the prawn chee cheong fun and it came doused in light and savoury sauce, topped with fried shallots and sambal chilli by the side. It was delicate, silky soft and smooth. I can't wait to go back and try other flavours such as their char siew and otah chee cheong fun 》$2.50

The perfect dim sum place the opens till 6am in the morning to feed the hungry bellies in the wee hours. Their signature mee suah kueh is a must-order kind of dish over at Swee Choon. It's like carrot cake made of mee suah then fried to give a crispy and soft texture.

XLB was still as good as before with the skin not being too thick/thin enough to break and spill the soup before it goes into my mouth.

Not forgetting to request for their hae bee hiam to pair their dim sum!

Rice Roll with Prawn 鲜虾肠粉 》$4

The sauce came seperately and we are unsure if we should dip or pour the sauce over the dish. We tried dipping and it seems ideal but the cheong fun tends to stick after awhile hence we pour the sauce over it. It turned out... too salty 💀 but still delicious 》$5.50

These piggy buns looked cute but doesn't taste as good. Portion of egg custard hidden in them are inconsistent. It's rather dry and not flowing at all ☹ 》$5/3pcs

I'm in a relationship with food. Why can't we just declare our never ending love and vows towards some food item? I'm sure that would not result in divorces.
