OCC: Happy Foods, Unique Dishes
Why go through the trouble of peeling crabs when you can have the best part of Chilli Crab - the sauce - together with large succulent prawns that have already been peeled for you. This version of chilli crab sauce is particularly rich and redolent with spiciness, perfect together with the house golden brown fried mantous(50 cents each / min. order of 4).

This Bun Cha is the closest in Singapore to the one I've tried in Hanoi, replete with sweet soup dip and delightfully charred pork.
Thick rice noodles in rich lobster, prawn, crab broth, with runny quail's eggs and pork to complete a hearty treat.
Excellently grilled unagi with a slight crust giving way to moist insides. This is the place I would honestly come back to over and over again if I had the cash to spare. But prices seems to have risen since the last time I was here.
But all in all, a great dining experience and definitely not to be missed especially if you are a fan of eels
Super yummy. Standard has been kept the same since they first opened! Glad they don’t disappoint with their crispy batter and fresh ingredients. My faves are the squid and chicken breast - so juicy and tasty!
Went to this shop just for otoro and at first they told us that otoro was out of stock. Imagine the disappointment on our faces 😅 guess they saw that and somehow told us they could get us this o-toro don set. Glad we tried it and it was such melt-in-the-mouth goodness. Don't think I ever tried such fatty tuna before. Even the rice has the vinegar-y taste and all was so legit. Miso soup was not too saltish and the tea was awesome. Good place for birthday celebrations 🥳

The menu states serves 2. However, if you’re a big eater like me, it’s enough for one. I requested for no rice though, and they acceded without fuss 👍
Nicely grilled meats, although it took a while. The platter consists of lamb chops, lamb kebab, beef kebab and chicken cubes.
Finally back at Long Ji to properly try their famous crab bee hoon! With every table here sporting a plate of this, you know it's gonna be goooood.
And hot damn, this was one of the freshest crabs I've ever had. A quick tug on the claw and the entire chuck of sweet flesh came clean out of it's shell! 🤤The bee hoon and broth was packed with peppery goodness and wok hei, so good that I'm salivating just thinking about it. 👅💦
Guilty pleasure and best roast meats! Must try if you like fatty and sinful roast meats!
The lesser known but equally delightful chicken delicacy in Singapore.

Not aesthetically beautiful but this plate of dark and messy Boss Beehoon ($12) is an art form. Who would've thought that simple stir fry of beehoon with only egg, veggies and fishcakes could be so yummy. 😋 The savoury and sweetness of dark sauce was on point and that strong wok hei flavour really punches you in the face. The intensity is real so I will recommend for sharing. 😊
