Savour The Days!

The halibut was really, really fresh and was fried to a crisp, which was nice but made it a bit hard at the same time. The winner was the curried sambal mayo though - nicely and lightly flavoured, paired well with the chips and basically every other side that we ordered. Pricey for a fish and chips but worth it if you’ve got the Burpple 1-1 deal!

They’ve updated their in-store menu so it’s not 100% the same as the one on Burpple - for the halibut at least, at the time when we went there, the menu on Burpple listed it as Halibut with Lemon Coconut Cream but the in-store menu had it listed as Halibut Fish & Chips (we were looking forward to the Lemon Coconut Cream actually).

Ambience wise, great vibes and music, perfect for an evening hang out with your pals over their selection of wacky cocktails! 😌

Made with their Secret Pepper Mix, believe us when we say that yes, this dish is more on the peppery side! It was a fascinating combination of pepper, truffle, and cheese, but we did feel that the pepper overpowered the truffle in some ways. Ordered the full sized portion ($21.90) and it’s also available in a taster portion ($16.90), but the full sized was honestly rather small so we wouldn’t recommend going for the taster if you’re sharing!

We also had their laksa pasta (featured in a separate review), which was the better of the 2 dishes in our opinion!

Love anything laksa!!! The flavour was amazing and paired well with the tiger prawns and taupok in good old Singapore laksa fashion 🥲 The gravy was thick and was the spaghetti absorbed it well. Only gripe was that the portions are way too small - this was the full size (can’t imagine how small the Taster size would be)! Not the most value for money if not for the Burpple 1-1 deals on the mains. Food aside, ambience within the main restaurant was cosy and chill, and our pastas were served up pretty quickly 😊
