Yakizen is where you can find value-for-money lunches during the day and great Izakaya at night! Some of their stand-out dishes include the Salmon Aburi Maki ($26.80) and the Fresh Oyster with ponzu sauce (3pcs for $14.80). We reckon these would make for the perfect dinner when paired with either their Asahi or Sapporo bottles.

Domino’s Pizza certainly needs no introduction. The international fast food pizza chain is renown for their New York crusts that are hand stretched from fresh dough and of course, their signature sauce which is made from fresh vine-ripened tomatoes. You simply can’t go wrong with their classic Pepperoni Pizza!

Attention all fans of South Union Park and Eleven Strands: a new concept restaurant has arrived! If you’ve been digging the grub from either of these restaurants then you’d be pleased to know that the same folks have a new restaurant called Mia. Much like its counterparts, Mia serves delicious mains such as the Seafood Risotto ($28) that comes loaded with a plethora of fresh seafood ingredients—we’re talking prawns, clams, squid, baby scallops, and green shelled mussels, all doused in tomato sauce with a sprinkle of parmesan and a dash of parsley.

Serving authentic Japanese fare and drinks, Nanami Izakaya that’s located at Tanjong Pagar is the perfect spot for a quick lunch or an after-work gathering with your colleagues! Opt for their donburis during lunch and go for their selection of sashimi in the evening. We reckon the Salmon Belly Sashimi ($13) and the Scallop Sashimi ($12) would go great with a couple of pints of beer.

Inspired by time-tested recipes handed down from their grandmothers, the owners of Butter Studio are dedicated to honouring the tradition of crafting home-style bakes from scratch, and they’ve somehow managed to add a playful spin on some familiar favourites! This can be seen in their Gourmet Tarts which range from Sea Salt Nutella ($6.90) and Speculoos Cream Cheese ($6.90) to Raspberry Frangipane ($6.90) and Lemon Meringue ($7.90). Aside from these, they also come up with seasonal specials from time to time so be sure to pop by to see what’s bakin’.

Pint & Dine is a one-of-a-kind culinary establishment with a menu that’s very much inspired by the idea of simple and honest cooking. Their K-Chick Waffle ($18) which consists of the classic fried chicken and waffles combination with an added side of kimchi and onion rings is exemplary of that. Take a bite and you’ll know what we mean!

Feast on Middle-Eastern & Lebanese delicacies when you dine at Beirut Grill. With mouth-watering mezze and kebabs, you’re sure to leave with your cravings satisfied! With the exclusive Burpple 3 Course Set Menu deal ($49), you’ll get a starter (choose from Hummus with Pita Bread, Moutabal with Pita Bread, or Baba Ghanoush with Pita Bread, among many others), a main (Shish Taouk, Dory Fish, and Arayes Lamb, just to name a few), as well as a creamy Mouhalabiah for dessert. Sounds like a good deal to us!

Committed to providing exceptional speciality coffee, Huggs never fails to disappoint with its curated selection of beverages. A crowd-favourite is most definitely the Mocha ($6.50), a double espresso served with premium chocolate sauce and perfectly steamed milk, lightly topped with foam. We reckon this is the perfect bittersweet union! Plus it comes with a cute bear latte art to boot.
