Bless Paradise Group for their annual voucher gifts, even if their value is decreasing :(

Utilised the $10 off $30 voucher at Le Shrimp Ramen; we enjoyed the Big Prawn Shrimp Ramen ($17.30), Lettuce Soya Sauce ($5.90), and Braised Pork Ribs ($8.30). Only 2 prawns in the ramen but they were indeed big, and the broth hit the spot as usual. Remember to ask for their çhilli! We also added on noodles (+$1.40) but do note they don't add extra broth. Sides-wise, the pork ribs were so tender and flavourful, but my partner didn't prefer it as there were lots of fats. The lettuce was just decent and perhaps not worth the price. In total with the voucher, was only about $27.

Absolutely not worth it. Wanted to be a best-of-both-worlds fusion of prawn mee and white beehoon, but this ultimately fell flat. The broth, which is arguably the lynchpin to a good plate of white beehoon, tasted so bland with only a hint of 'prawniness'. Though there was a sizeable portion of pork ribs and 1 big prawn, there was so little beehoon that I actually had to double check that the menu indicated it was one person's portion - felt more like it was for half a person instead. Having grown up eating the original Sembawang White Beehoon, I think it's almost blasphemy for them to call this a White Beehoon. And at this price point even? Ptooi!

The regular refers to the size, but I would say that it also applied to the quality of this prawn mee. Broth was very light in flavour and not 'gao' enough. Decent amount of ingredients with fish cake, pork slices, and prawn paste ball. Just 2 small prawns though, eh. Would take Beach Road prawn mee over this, any day. But their soy sauce was really good, try it.

Didn't even step into the food centre yet but I could already smell the tantalising fragrance of the prawn broth simmering - it was THAT strong. Decided to go for the $12 option and was wowed by the huge prawns, rich broth, as well as the noodles mixed with an addictive sauce. Plus points for the pork rib and pig skin thrown into the mix as well! Definitely a must-try even if you are neutral toward prawn noodles.

The first thing that hits you is the charred prawn smell, and I mean this in a good way. Got me salivating and when the actual dish came, I was not disappointed - rich and flavourful broth paired with springy ramen noodles and plentiful ingredients (shoutout to the 2 huge charred prawns which was oh so good). Price might be abit steep but I suppose that's the trend with upscaled prawn mee recently.

Soup not very robust in flavour. Get their Hokkien Mee instead

Honestly did not expect this shopping mall prawn mee to be good, but this was GOOD. The soup was so flavourful and thick, and had a tinge of sweetness which I liked (but some might not!). The pork ribs was oh so tender but the prawns were soo hard to get out of their shell. One thing was that they only offered chilli padi but I preferred the chilli powder served in other outlets. Will come back to try their dry and the new paofan version.

Lacklustre broth that tasted more peppery than prawny. The $5.50 noodle also only has 2 small prawns and a handful of slices pork.

Had friends raving about this place and decided to specially drop by. No regrets at all. Soup was piping hot in the claypot and prawns were so fresh. Pork ribs were meaty and nicely accompanied the broth. Tobiiko prawn balls were slightly too soft though, won't recc it. Take note that if you say yes to chilli, they'll add the chili directly into your noodle. Dk if they can separate the chilli.

Not to be confused with the Singaporean 'Prawn Mee', Le Shrimp Ramen offers noodles served in an aromatic and flavourful shrimp broth. The shrimp broth is soooo good, made even better with the provided chilli which adds a spicy kick to the strong shrimp flavour in the soup. The variety of toppings you can have just adds to the deliciousness. We had the Signature Trio ($19.90) and the comforting Prawn and Pork Ribs ($17.90) and both were amazing; try the Signature Trio if you want something new!

Adventurous and always looking for new flavours on my tongue!
