Decided to checkout this noodle bar in order to leach off of my friendβs burpple premium subscription (ending soon π)
I got the Dry Shredded Chicken Sesame Noodles ππ for ($10.80 i think). It came w this beautiful tomato soup which was perfectly tangy π π₯« (tastes like haidilao apparently i wouldnβt know π). The noodles were fresh and springy and the sesame sauce was light and refreshing π§π€€.
U can see an extra egg in the picture, thatβs because my friend doesnβt like Hanjuku eggs (sacrilege fr π‘) but idm cause he gave it to me (protein gains fam πͺ). The egg was a bit over done but it was still yummy π.
Towards the end i added some chilli oil and that was bussin as well π©βπ³
Overall probably the best sesame noodles iβve ever had, try it out!

I was walking around the amoy hawker center listlessly, visibly overwhelmed by the sheer number of options available when I came across βA noodle storyβ. π
iβm not a pork eater, but upon seeing the numerous accolades and news articles (cough cough Michelin Guide certificate π₯΅) displayed at the stall, I HAD to give it a try.
My experience began when I asked the uncle at the stall for the menu only to be met w a confused look. There is only one item in the menu - I had already blundered π.
Fortunately, everything went smoothly after that. The dish I ordered was supposed to be a mordern singapore take on ramen + some cool science stuff make it v yummy π¬π ($9.80).
As for the dish, the noodles were springy and fresh β¨οΈ, but the star of the show imo were the sides: tempura ebi π€, prawn wonton π₯ and fish cake (i think lol). Despite being fried they were all pretty light and pleasant.
OH and the egg was π©βπ³π absolutely delightful π©
I tried the chashu as well, and surprisingly I quite enjoyed it. It was soft and yummy. But since I donβt like eating big animals I did not finish it π·π«.
HONESTLY right, if you told me this was from any normal hawker stall iβd believe itβ¦ Maybe iβm just not cut out to be a connoisseur π€·ββοΈ
but iβd give this a Rating: 3.5/5
I ordered the Spaghetti in the Homemade Tomato Sauce with Chicken for $11.80. The chicken was juicy π¦ and yummy π but itβs similar to a pretty average chicken chop at a hawker stallβ¦. (not complaining). As for the βhomemade tomato sauceβ, I think tomato juice would be a more accurate description ππ§(itβs watery and bland). If I ever have to eat here again iβd probably go for the all day breakfast set instead π³.
