Out of everything I ordered, the fried pork and sambal lala were definite standouts. The pork was tender, flavourful, and not greasy at all. The sambal lala had a unique twist compared to the usual, but the sauce was so addictive—it kept me going back for more! The other dishes were delicious too, and everything paired perfectly with their chicken rice chilli, which added an extra kick. I went on a Tues and was surprised to see the place packed. I’ll definitely be back to try their chicken rice next time!
Walked past this place and was immediately drawn in by the cozy and inviting interior. The selection of Korean side dishes was delicious, and what truly made the experience stand out was the staff—they were incredibly friendly, cooked the meat for us to absolute perfection and even suggested tasty combinations to try. The meat was tender, juicy, and clearly high quality. Definitely one of my favourite KBBQ spots now :)
This place came highly recommended — and it delivered! The smoked split pea butter with sourdough was rich and addictive, and both the Iberico pork and Wagyu picanha were incredibly tender and flavourful, showcasing their expert dry-ageing technique. The lemon ginger spritz was light and refreshing. Definitely a great spot for special occasions and we’ll definitely be back for more :)
This cafe is a hidden gem with a charming, unique interior. The portions are generous and well worth the price! The crispy squid tentacles were incredibly appetizing—easily the best I’ve had. As a duck lover, the duck confit gnocchi was a perfect choice, and the ribeye paired beautifully with the chimichurri. I’ll definitely be back to try more!
I loved the ambience of the restaurant—the relaxing music and elegant light stands at each table created a wonderful atmosphere. I tried the fried brussels sprouts, tiger prawn bisque and chocolate brownie. The char on the brussels sprouts added a slight sweetness that I really enjoyed. The pasta was perfectly cooked, and the prawns were impressively large! It was so delicious that not a single bite was left on the plate! I love how fudgy the brownie was and it wasn’t overly sweet (craving for more now as I’m typing this).. To top it all off, the service was exceptional, making it a truly memorable dining experience!!
We ordered the Duck Confit (with Foie Gras) and the Black Garlic Ribeye Steak with Bone Marrow Butter! The duck skin was crispy on the outside and the meat was juicy on the inside. Paired with the creamy foie gras, it was hands down one of the best duck confits I’ve ever tasted! We requested the steak to be cooked medium-rare, and it was done to perfection—complemented beautifully by the rich brandy sauce.
As for the cocktails, we were pleasantly surprised by the wide variety available and were absolutely spoilt for choice. We decided on the Heartland Signature and Ice on Wheels and didn’t expect the drinks to be served exactly as illustrated in the menu. They were the cutest, and the cocktails tasted extra special with their fun and creative elements.
This was my first visit, and it’s now my go-to spot to satisfy my Kushiyaki cravings! The black pork collar and Tochigi Wagyu A4 are absolute standouts—juicy, flavorful, and irresistible, especially when paired with the sauce. Another favorite of mine is the mentaiko scallops; they were so good I had to hold myself back from ordering more because I was already so full! The food was amazing, and the service was impressively quick. Although I don’t drink alcohol, the staff enthusiastically shared their extensive sake selection, so it’s definitely a paradise for sake lovers!
As a prawn lover, I knew I got to give Zhup Zhup a try and I’m super glad I did! Had a hard time choosing the dishes as everything looks good but I decided on the seafood paofan, the tasting platter as well as the har cheong gai! Love the richness of the soup and freshness of the prawns with abundant seafood in one bowl. It’s really value for money. The fried food compliments the seafood paofan really well and before I know it, my husband and I cleared all dishes! Till date, I’m still thinking of the prawn broth so you can imagine how good it is :)
I’ve never been much of a sashimi lover, but this dining experience completely changed my perspective. My husband brought me here, and though I was hesitant at first, I ended up thoroughly enjoying every dish. The meal began with an incredible chawanmushi, possibly the best I’ve ever had, thanks to the generous amount of crab that made it exceptionally flavorful and satisfying.
The sushi platters that followed were a true highlight. Even though raw fish isn’t usually my preference, the freshness and tenderness of the sashimi won me over. The fatty tuna, in particular, was rich, while the white fish had a subtle, clean flavor that I surprisingly enjoyed. The creamy, bold uni (sea urchin) was a standout and a completely new experience for me.
On top of the delicious food, the service from the restaurant manager, Vincent, was excellent, making the experience even more memorable. With such a great mix of flavors, textures, and attentive service, I’ll definitely be coming back!
