Visited Rise Bakehouse at Chinatown on a Thursday afternoon and had to queue around 12:30pm. We shared the Scallop Rose Rigatoni ($23.90++)—flavourful sauce with a good kick, but the scallops were unfortunately a bit rubbery. It’s quite rich, so sharing was a good call.
The Fish & Chips with Curry Mayo ($20.90++) was a pleasant surprise—light, airy batter and the curry mayo really elevated the dish.
My sister enjoyed her flat white ($6.50++), and I had the Strawberry Matcha Cloud Latte ($9++) , which was cloudy, foamy, and nicely balanced. Would return for the drinks and fish, and try the soft shell chilli crab rigatoni and desserts next!
