feeling selfish and just want to have this kopi hideout to myself. but i am for the greater good. free parking ☑, free wifi ☑, good kopi? ☑ ☑. am a FAN already. plus they remember me! ok, like who will ask to pay kopi with cc right? still cursing myself for not bringing the wallet out. but @sunsetrailway_cafe made the day better!

rainy weather need comfort food. i always go for a small cup. the kopi is always said to be more fragrant! gim huat also house the very good ann chin popiahs and famous coin prata. be prepared to queue though for the latter though

had your morning coffee yet? always know that the italians will do it with more class. so when you next order your espresso or what was scarily known back then as "drink of satan", don’t be surprised when a shot of sparkling water comes with it. why? the italian custom has it to cleanse your palate before your first sip. then, their only wish for you is that you enjoy the full intensity and the wonderful aromas of the espresso and hit ninth heaven. .

weekend already?? time seems to flash at quicksilver's pace of late. so need coffee to prevent whiplash.

am gonna get as scientific (but biased) as this conical lab flask.

fact: coconut water is scientifically proven to keep your body hydrated. and proper hydration has actually been proven to help with weight loss. fact: ingesting caffeine jumpstarts the process of lipolysis, boosting metabolism slightly and helps burn fat.

fact also: this overnight coffee in coconut water is very nice. is smooth, not shocking rude, you get the sweet salty notes (in a good way) of the refreshing coconut water but still reminded that this is after all a coffee with the very mellowed acidity of coffee. drink direct from the flask or for more experiments, pour onto the coconut sphere by the side.

weekend made right. you can have all the innovative coffee in the world, i can still do with a good flat white. that said, @montanasingapore's coffee is still legit.

hole in the wall, little or no seats, serves pretty much just coffee, only single origin beans roasted in-house.. I HEART THIS PLACE ALREADY!
p.s surprisingly, a very balanced single origin beans that went very well with milk!

the washington post calls cold brew a millennial’s drink - “it’s like when people ask for a kleenex when they want a tissue". haha. @compoundcoffeeco's cold brew comes without the milky creaminess mouthfeel but lets you enjoy the mellow fruitiness in the brew. if oldhen is your kind of thing, you may chicken out at this compound! ha. anyway, TGIF people!

coz monday need coffee. blessed are the folks at novena medical centre. such a good boost to kickstart the day - strong, robust and most importantly, the cafe makes you forget about work!

once i tried entering that stacked compound albeit back door access but failed miserably after screwed up comms with the staff. today at their kaki bukit compound, much delayed gratification with public access - a clean cut cuppa with a sweet fruity undertone throughout. cheers to midweek!
