#Throwback to the dim sum “party” we had the weekend before the start of #circuitbreaker.⁣

Our #点心 feast comprises Shiitake Chicken Shao Mai, Supreme Har Kao, Classic Loh Mai Kai, Wholemeal Vegetable Pau, Wholemeal Tao Sar Pau, Canton Roasted Duck Pau as well as Matcha Azuki Pau. ⁣

Love the Classic Loh Mai Kai (improved recipe) as well as the steamed buns! So soft and fluffy! The Matcha Azuki Pau and Tao Sar Pau are my favourites! ⁣

8 tbsp cold Whipping Cream⁣
5 tbsp Milo Powder (I use Australian Recipe)⁣
1 tsp Sugar⁣
1 cup cold fresh milk⁣
1 tbsp Milo Powder (to sprinkle, optional)⁣
A handful of Milo Nuggets (optional)⁣

1. Whisk whipping cream till stiff peak⁣
2. Whisk milo powder and sugar till smooth⁣
3. Pour cold milk in serving glass and top with Milo foam⁣
4. Sprinkle Milo powder and nuggets⁣
5. Stir to enjoy!⁣

Becos I don’t do mainstream when it comes to pasta, I decided to spice up my pasta with the packet of @dancingchef_sg’s Butter Chicken paste that I bought over the weekend. And I must say it works like a charm! Loving the combination! #notsponsored Will attempt with fresh pasta next time! ⁣

PS: Didn’t look at the instructions behind the packet till yesterday night. Realised it calls for yogurt and whipping cream in addition to the paste. Thankfully, I got both in my fridge! Yes, those are my essentials so I’m very well-prepared for this #circuitbreaker. 🤣⁣

A good plate of chicken rice where both the chicken and rice are good is rare. The last I remembered, I had a good plate of chicken rice in Phnom Penh. 🤔
Brother Cheng’s Chicken Rice — located within @picnic.sg at @wismaatria — hits all the right spots. Tender, flavourful chicken with aromatic bentong ginger chicken rice. I’m not a fan of rice but the chicken rice here is so fragrant, I finished the whole bowl of rice. I kinda like the soup too as it has silky tofu cubes in it. 😋
