Oriole Coffee Roasters, located in a quiet corner of a street close to the Chinatown area. You can have traditional kaya toast set with "Atas" coffee here, but I chose coffee and desserts as usual! Best thing about the cafe, apart from the rustic ambience and the long table setup, is actually the free WiFi access here! Totally digging cafes that provide complimentary wifi for cafe-goers that's always on the move!

New found fav item at Plaza Brasserie... Chocolate Prata. Super esp when you add rum & raisin ice cream!

For just $14, these are the biggest fish n chips I've ever had, and definitely one of the better ones around. Pio, the friendly menu creator, explained that he ensures each portion of mains weighs enough to be filling for a human being. These beer-battered, spice-marinated fish with steak cut fries was perfectly crispy and every bit satisfying. Don't forget to add malt vinegar ! And yes, it was reaaaally filling.

A humble abode that serves authentic Japanese dishes. Really flavorful. The owners are Japanese. This is $14. Do try if you're around the Tiong Bahru area!

A neighborhood hidden gem at Jalan Besar. Saw everyone on the table eating this chao tar (crispy) fried bee hoon. Interesting taste like pancake biscuit, and normal bee hoon and ingredients underneath it. Uniquely Singapore indeed?

12 ounce ribeye. An outstanding example of USDA Prime at its best. Well marbled for peak flavour, deliciously juicy. Broiled at exactly 980 degrees Celsius to lock in the flavour. Then served on 260 degrees delicious plate so that it stays hot throughout your meal. Served sizzling in butter, sound of it is music to your ears!

Delectably crispy on the outside, soft and gooey on the inside. Pairs perfectly with the dark chocolate dip.

Blackmore 9+ Wagyu Tenderloin with Jamon, Beetroot and Dehydrated vine-ripe French tomatoes. Wonderfulicious!

Good tasty Wagyu patty with choice of aged cheddar or Brie cheese. Fresh leafy veg and good pickles make this burger worth its $$$!
