4 munchies: The combination of sweet and sour from the smooth custard, tropical fruits and passionfruit was a delight to have in warm and humid Bangkok. When eaten altogether with the light and airy meringue that had a crisp exterior, it was packed with sugary sweet tanginess in every mouthful.

They gave me a PICNIC, and EVERYTHING was edible.

The picnic cloth can be eaten. See that lipstick? Can also be eaten. It's chocolate. Beneath that is a chocolate brownie, summer chocolate served with peaches, cherries, chocolates and gelato.
By the way, it's at the 57th floor of KLCC. Super beautiful.

Loved the Jalan Imbi noodles at Lot 10 so much that I went to the original stall.

This is about twice better than what I had, the kway teow is so smooth it slides down. Deceptively simple, but spectacularly tasty.

The guy beside said he had been eating this for 30 years, and the owner reared his own pig, doesn't get from suppliers.

But the owner may be retiring soon....

My primary school mate & I wanted to come here for dinner on my first day but they stopped giving queue numbers at 3pm! So glad now I managed to try! Supposedly to have a good sea view but today it's blocked by Star Cruise😅

Authentic Tom Yam soup pack full of spice and flavor! Definitely one of the best I've ever had. The prawns are the size of a fat thumb. Please try the next time you're in BKK.

Back for the savory brunch menu at The Good Batch. ☺️ I decided to try the Hangover Mess, not the Norwegian because I didn't feel like having seafood that day.

This dish looks really good! Hangover mess is basically corned beef hash (sautéed minced beef with potatoes) and bell peppers, topped with two sunny side ups on top that has amazing runny yolks and lastly a drizzle of hollandaise sauce. Served with a slice of brioche toast.

Taste wise is not bad. The corned beef is really tasty and perfectly seasoned. I love the potatoes! It was my first time trying a corned beef hash too. Not too bad of an experience. What's best is I get to burst the egg yolk over the corned beef, creating a delicious sauce to go together with everything. Yum! Love the toast too! So fluffy, soft and toasted to a nice crunch.

Food: 8/10 Price: 5/10 (RM 20.90 - I must say though, TGB is very expensive. Most of their breakfast menu ranges from RM 20 and above. Cheapest is just SLIGHTLY below 20. Considering the portion and ingredients (especially for the Hangover Mess), it is very expensive! Two eggs, potatoes, minced beef, bell peppers and a small toast with a drizzle of sauce for RM 20? Think about it. I appreciate the chefs effort for making such a delicious meal though. Worth a try but keep your wallet in check!)

P/S. This time I sat by the window. It was quite a nice environment! ☺️

Farmer's Pancake Breakfast @ Jam and Kaya

The famous farmer's pancake is under the all day breakfast menu which consists of sunny side up, pancakes, hash brown, chicken ham, sautéed button mushroom, some salad leaves and a drizzle of syrup.

What a great combination! Normally pancakes are served as a sweet breakfast or a dessert. But Jam & Kaya gave it a great twist by combining sweet and savoury flavours. Not too bad! What's best is the perfectly cooked sunny side up with a runny yolk which naturally becomes a sauce for everything. It might be hard to fit everything in one bite, but if you do you'll have a burst of flavour! 😍 Mushrooms were so fragrant, hash browns are crispy and pancakes were fluffy. No wonder this is their best seller!

However, the syrup was too sweet for me. I enjoyed the first few bites but the syrup kind of ruined everything for me at my last few bites. They were incredibly sweet until it became quite overwhelming to me. 😓

This is a very filling breakfast! Definitely a breakfast for champions. Also suitable for a satisfying lunch.

Other drool worthy food that I saw among the tables around me was their weekend special french toast and their pancakes!

Food: 8/10 Price: 8/10 (RM 18.90 - I'd say it's worth it for the big and filling portion!)
