* This place has closed :( Please try somewhere else. * Situated amidst the lush greenery of Bukit Timah, Little Diner is a place of respite from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Make no mistake, we are not a fine dining establishment, serving haute cuisine on small plates. Instead we serve hearty food that feed the hungry and invigorate the weary. There is no pretense; just honest, good comfort food. We seek to embody the concept of a local diner, your go-to place for great eatz in generous portions. We urge you to make Little Diner your home as much as it is ours. Come to a place where the food is great, and friends are made.

Like what other reviews mentioned, these fries were indeed a little soggy and oily. The smell of the truffle however was really strong as the dish arrived :o Taste wise was alright.

• Chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice-cream drizzled with chocolate syrup.

It tastes like any other typical lava cake with vanilla ice-cream that you can find anywhere. Nothing fancy/great.

Macaroni Tossed in Yummy Triple Cheese Sauce, Topped with Crispy Breadcrumbs Baked till Golden Brown.I love the fact that the sauce was a good consistency. Thick, Creamy, Velvety and Cheesy. Pasta was al dente. Overall I give it a 7/10.

Another dish worth trying is the "Krusty Krab" Benedict ($19.50). Golden Crabcake Pillow with Chipotle Aioli, Crispy Bacon, Grilled Asparagus, Poached Eggs & Hollandaise Sauce on Toasted Brioche Bread with Side of Baby Green Salad. Spicy Sweet Crabcake, Crispy on the Outside and Soft in the Inside accompanied with the Creamy Buttery Hollandaise Sauce and Toasted Bread was a perfect combination. Overall I give this dish 8/10.

A dish you should stay away from is the Truffle Fries ($9.50 for small). Fries were like Soggy(?) Maybe cause they are Handcut. Truffle taste was like not present while the taste of Garlic was strong. Feel like they should rename it to Garlic Fries instead. Overall I give it a 4/10.

Truffle fries were good; fries were handcut and there was a decent truffle aroma on each fry. Their famous mac&cheese was also pretty yummy though it was a little overbearing so do share it! The calamari was a huge miss, tasted like refrigerated food. In all, Little Diner serves up decent cafe food and normal cafe prices. Was quit when I went on a weekday afternoon and the place was quite nice for a chill afternoon.

Brunch..the krusty crab patties were lovely addition to the eggs benedict

On Tuesdays all burgers go for 15++ except empire burger

I'm convinced this is pulled pork burger perfection as theres nothing else to ask for. Sweet, tangy and smokey, the sauce accompanied the juicy and soft pork perfectly. It was so good I decided after my first bite that using fork and knife would be an insult to this glorious burger. Couldn't even stop to taste the pickles and slaw while I was busy wolfing down this beast. And yes it is a beast despite its seemingly small portion in the picture, the meat literally falls out in dollops as u press it together. The portion of homemade slaw was super generous as well, though it's usually fries if u don't ask for a change.
