Grilled pork collar. Kind of like a must have when you are having Thai food. Nicely done!

Decided to try something new and had dinner at the Little Elephant Thai Bistro!

I have to say that krapow pork might be even nicer than Krapow at FEP! I guess the inclusion of baby corn made the dish a little sweeter than normal, which was refreshing.

Great spot for Thai food while chilling with friends!

.
The marinated pork neck has a layer of herbal spicy flavour to the natural smoky savoury sweet taste of the meat. The marinade is a home made blend of lime juice, mint leaves, fish sauce, spring onions, and chili. The tender, moist texture of the pork neck has a light chew, very delightful.
.
The salad of string beans, cabbage, and cucumber are refreshing and vegetal sweet in flavour, contrasting nicely.

This will be among the dishes showcased @ Chang Sensory Trails 2018, held from 31 August till 01 September 2018, in the evenings at The Lawn @ Marina Bay.

This features quality pork neck, tender and moist with a light chew to texture, having a smoky savoury sweet flavour. The garnish of crushed peanuts lend a light crunch.
.
The natural flavour of the pork shines here, but you can also pair it with a sharp fiery spicy Thai chili dipping sauce for a bold kick. Nice, can see this working as a snack.

This differs from the traditional versions, due to the use of premium cuts of beef short rib.
.
The beef is sous vide for 48 hours at 65 degrees, then stir-fried with holy basil, and a trio of bell peppers / capsicum (green, yellow, red), making the dish look vibrant and colourful, while lending a lovely fragrance and a crunch to texture.
.
The beef short rib has a tender texture with bold savoury meaty flavour, overlaid with the herbal fresh notes of the holy basil, and the vegetal sweet flavours of the bell peppers / capsicum. We enjoyed this.

Very tasty shrimp paste fried rice, with no MSG and portion is good for 2. Price is at $12 which I find it reasonable for that portion. The papaya salad is also a must try. Overall price is reasonable.
