Ordered a few dishes, all is good, but when I posted this lobster on my instastories, everyone asking where to get this! The lobster curry is good, it serves with fishes, clams and vegetable. Mee kuah ketam is really good. A place for family, a place for friends to share! Sharing is caring so why not 😋 chicken cheese pot is what I want to try next !
Make this your next after-work gathering place with your friends! Located along the streets of Bangsar's Telawi, LoKhaba surprises with refined local dishes at unexpectedly modest prices. To ease into dinner, nibble on the Cumi-Cumi Rangup (RM14), spice-loaded deep fried squid that might just coax you into having a Beer (from RM22) with it. Mains are luscious — excite appetites with the Masak Lemak Itik Salai (Chargrilled Duck Breast in Turmeric Coconut Gravy, RM22.90) or the Lontong Kering (from RM16.90), a compressed rice dish complemented by delicious beef rendang. The iconic Malaysian drink takes the form of a Killer Teh Tarik (RM5) here, endowed with a smooth balance of black tea fragrance and condensed milk sweetness.
Avg Price: RM30
New worthwhile lunch spot in Bangsar! LoKhaba proclaims to serve Malaysian food at Malaysian prices, though the definition of Malaysian prices could differ from what you had in mind. This is Bangsar, after all. The Mee Kuah Ketam (RM22.90) may have stemmed from a brilliant idea but lacked the intensity that a well-executed kuah ketam should bear. But the Cumi-cumi Rangup (RM14) swooped in to save the day with crunchy squid in a peppery, lemongrass-fragrant batter.
