Lola's Cafe

3130 Wishlisted
Hello there, welcome to your backyard café. It’s cozy, it smells of great food and freshly ground coffee. You must have with you everyone and anyone who matters to you for maximum enjoyment. When Lola’s Café was first conceptualized, there was one binding thought that was not to be compromised; Lola’s was going to be a playful and casual environment where you could get honest, unpretentious comfort fare in the company of great friends. We insist to serve only the food & drinks made with great love because food served from the heart is the most delicious.

Thinking about the runny egg yolk atop the Crab Cake Benedict we had.

Crispy Wings ($10)
Crab Cake Benedict ($18)
Pork & Avocado Eggs Benedict ($15)
Basil Pesto Mushroom Toast + Pork Sausage ($17)

Baileys Affogato ($6)
Iced Latte ($5.2)

We came here on Saturday afternoon and this place is packed with people. We reached around 12:30pm and queued about 30 mins before we could get in. So, make sure to come early if you decide to go to this cafe.

Generally, all their food is good but our favourites are their crispy wings, pork avocado & eggs ben and baileys affogato (coffee with bits of chocolate topped with ice cream, yumz).

After lunch, we also ordered some tarts (not shown on the photo): Lemon Meringue ($5.6) and Chocolate Seasalt Tart ($5.6). Their lemon tart is just what I like, not the sweet kind and more towards the sour type and the crust has just the right amount of thickness. Chocolate tart has the perfect balance of sweet, bitter and a hint of saltiness. Recommended to try 👍🏼

Just how long do we have to keep this up... Anyway, while it’s sad to see @onthetablesg has closed its door last weekend, am thankfully the sister cafe @lolascafesg is still going strong. The place was quite packed when we were there last Saturday morning (*kudos to those who guess where I was from just the Egg Benedict)

Our brunch is made up of Crab Cake Benedict ($18), Miso Salmon Grain Bowl ($18) and handcrafted flat white. Love how they use Miso Hollandaise and Furikake on the crab cake, giving it a crunchy and briny bite. And while simple fare at least you onow
