Hello there, welcome to your backyard café. It’s cozy, it smells of great food and freshly ground coffee. You must have with you everyone and anyone who matters to you for maximum enjoyment. When Lola’s Café was first conceptualized, there was one binding thought that was not to be compromised; Lola’s was going to be a playful and casual environment where you could get honest, unpretentious comfort fare in the company of great friends. We insist to serve only the food & drinks made with great love because food served from the heart is the most delicious.

Look at the size of those two pork sausages. So perfectly browned and crisp. And they were super juicy and meaty too. <3

One thing I like about this sort of breakfast platter is that usually the components can be adjusted to your preference. I prefer poached eggs to scrambled and I don't like bacon, so had it replaced with extra mushroom (+$1)

This delicious hearty brunch ($18) came with a salad, slice of sourdough, two sausages, eggs and sauteed cajun mushrooms. Again, all about well-executed individual elements coming together. The poached eggs were perfectly runny and just delightful with the toasted sourdough. Mushrooms were tender and not overly seasoned. And the lightly dressed salad provided a refreshing touch.

Aaaah...makes me feel so basic, but I really do love a good brunch.

Lola's Cafe uses a blend from Colombia, Brazil and Ethiopia, and I really love the blend because of how different it tastes as both black and white. I'm glad this remarkably affordable platter ($5) allowed me to have the best of both worlds.

As a piccolo latte the coffee was so smooth and rich. The chocolatey, nutty notes so characteristic of Latin American coffee shone through beautifully. As black coffee the beans had this bright, crisp acidity, citrus notes and was definitely more lighter-bodied. Definitely the Ethiopian roots of the coffee practically glowing.

Lola's Cafe certainly takes its coffee seriously. A coffee aficionado (like me *cough*) would definitely enjoy a visit here and sipping a cuppa in a beautifully decorated, cosy little cafe.

must-try! came for lunch and we enjoyed every dish here :)

This dish was so good and sooo filling. The pork was juicy and the hollandaise sauce paired with it so well.

Probably my favourite dish at Lola’s. There’s really something about these wings. Sometimes I get this as my main even tho it’s a starter 🤤

A pretty petite cup size but you get bang for your buck for the authenticity of flavour .

Deep matcha flavour with the bitter undertone that I like. The best part is that you can customise how sweet or less sweet you like your matcha latte to be - unlike most establishments where they used pre mixed matcha latte powder which is already sweetened and sometimes too sweet for life’s sake.

Very delightful cup of matcha latte- my new matcha haven.

Possibly better than the ones I had at hvala 😊or tsujiri - hmm.....
