Lola's Cafe

The 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗯𝗶𝗿𝗱 𝗖𝗮𝗸𝗲 was a denser cake stuffed with bananas and pineapples, and topped with cream cheese frosting. My personal preference is lighter, fluffier cakes, so I didn't really fancy this cake even though the fruits made it quite delightful.

Among the two cakes we ordered at Lola's Cafe, we preferred the 𝗟𝘆𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝘀𝗲𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗮𝗸𝗲. The rosewater sponge was layered with buttercream, embedded with lychees and pistachios, and adorned with rose petals. Very refreshing and delicious!

This cake is moist and tastes alot like a nice banana cake with pineapples. It has cheese frosting on top. If you like banana cake you will like this. Personally I still prefer their lychee rose cake. It's not a bad cake but I prefer the taste of chocolate and lychees rose.

My top 2 favs are the black sesame (the one with the green tea crumbs on top). The black sesame is really gao and will satisfy those who love black sesame. I also love the mango passion because it's sour. When shared with the black sesame tarts it's really contrasting and nice. I am. It too the yam and the other tart (can't remember name). They are not terrible ,just normal in my opinion.

Very nice the pulled pork has a smoky taste and the eggs are well done. The yolks are oozing and the white and cooked. Get this if you love egg Benedict's.

Waffle- love the strawberry cheesecake ice cream with cubes of cheesecakes on it!!

Hummingbird- fresh banana n pineapple w cinnamon cream frosting. Very interesting but not too heavy as well~
