Hello there, welcome to your backyard café. It’s cozy, it smells of great food and freshly ground coffee. You must have with you everyone and anyone who matters to you for maximum enjoyment. When Lola’s Café was first conceptualized, there was one binding thought that was not to be compromised; Lola’s was going to be a playful and casual environment where you could get honest, unpretentious comfort fare in the company of great friends. We insist to serve only the food & drinks made with great love because food served from the heart is the most delicious.

this looked amazing i was vv excited to dig in! it had chunks of salmon, clams, and 3 prawns in a creamy stew which tasted incredible w the sourdough. the portion was huge too! my only gripe is that it tasted quite one-dimensional so it got kinda boring after a while. still a p satisfying meal though, i think would be much better if i had shared with someone else

my friends had the bacon & mushroom truffle cream linguine and beef cheeks with barley risotto

i rly wanna come back for brunch one day to try their shakshuka!! they have a 1h dining limit though so might not be the best place to chill esp if you’re coming during peak hours

Iced honey chamomile was very refreshing and light with a hint of lemongrass

One of the best cafe matcha lattes ever. EVER. The matcha taste isn’t overpowered and it’s very very creamy and rich, matcha lovers would love this.

My third time trying this and unfortunately the pulled pork was a salt bomb this time round. The other components were executed as per usual. But the pulled pork was sooo salty and more heavy handed with the spices, you can kinda see how it’s really dark in the pic. But it’s really soft and i’m sure if they dialed back on the salt it would be delicious. My friends who visited on the same day as me also had the same sentiments so maybe it’s just a bad day

Second time getting this and still love it as much! The crab cakes are flavourful, a little bit of spice and sweetness of the crab and fried to golden perfection. The hollandaise sauce is not too heavy and coats the crab cakes wonderfully. Muffins were ordinary, not hard like Mcdonald’s. The poached eggs were just slightly over and didnt flow out, but I still enjoyed it very much.

Overall, aesthetic > food taste.
The pulled pork avocado eggs Benedict was quite good and they were very generous with the pulled pork. Never expected pulled pork to go so well with avocado.
The sando was pretty decent too. Definitely can’t go wrong with milk bread with patty & tamago.
Pasta was quite nice but pretty basic and nothing special to mention.
The honey&paprika chicken was pretty basic to me — not very sure why this is their specialty dish. Worth a try but found it pretty disappointing.
The eggs Benedict with crab cakes were the major disappointment — really taste like toasted frozen crab cakes that were of lower quality (rly didn’t taste good). My friend likes crab cakes and was kinda insulted.
Not in picture: ordered the coco Pandan waffle & had easily the worst waffle of my life (I am a waffle fan so PSA: order at your own risk) although I’m hoping it’s a fluke.

The coffee here is pretty decent.
Vibes were nice & can understand why the place is popular. This cafe is also a little on the pricey side considering it’s location, but still reasonable for a popular cafe.
