I couldn’t stop snacking 😭🤤#fattylife -Uses dehydrated Italian black truffle powder instead of truffle oil 😯
-Imported spices from Si Chuan giving the fish skin the flavor of chilli without the spicyness.
-The classic salted egg flavor that everyone is crazy for.

Here are the details:

Thinly sliced pumpkin with a thick batter. Deep fried and coated with miso sauce. Sadly it was a little cloying for me and I struggle to enjoy this after my 2nd piece.

What's London Fat Duck without trying the roast duck itself? The BBQ combination features choices from the roast duck, roast pork belly and char siew. A combination of all 3 would cost $23.80.

We had the roast duck and char siew combination. While the char siew had a slightly charred edge and caramelized exterior, the meat was too fatty for my liking. Melts in the mouth but still a no no. But the roast duck was quite impressive, a chopped drumstick that had juicy meat and well-roasted skin. Pairs so suitably with the sweet plum sauce that cuts through all the oiliness.

It's not usual to see duck meat used in making buns for dim sum. Thus, the curiosity in this signature black pepper London duck buns.

Seems pretty much like a polo bun, the baked bun comes with a crisp savoury crust on top, which crumbles easily upon biting. But, this charcoal polo bun carries a very strong black pepper taste that at the end of it, I could only feel the spicy black pepper taste lingering instead of the actual taste of the duck meat. Perhaps they should go easy on that.

I can't really comment on the taste of the duck because it was really masked by the black pepper, but generally it was saucy and tender. Just that I couldn't really tell it was duck meat.

Disappointed that the crispy Pandan snow custard bun was sold out because I wanted to try how oozy it is, but let's leave that till the next time!

I prefer this than the other London fat duck restaurant is the not too much fat beneath the crispy skin. Hence I can taste the roasted duck skin at its best. The meat is also tasty unlike some which is too plain.

Sometimes, food are about who you eat with and not about what you eat. Not impressive meal but enjoyed a few items.. We have always wanted to try here coz every outlets have long queue. Confused that their crispy snow bun and signature cheechorfun taste better den meat items. Duck skin very crispy but not sweet duck. Worst charsiew ever with so much fatssss. #monthsary #dinnerdate #londonduck #igsg #foodsg #burpple
