The Mapo Tofu here were more sweet than they were spicy, though still pleasantly tasty. Imagine it'd go well with a bowl of rice but was too full by the end of the meal to stomach any more carbs.

Had both the Snow Bun and Black Pepper Bun and the latter won hands down, with its peppery kick and brittle crust.

The Crispy Corn & Prawn with Salted Egg may give you trust issues, since you may mistakenly pick up a corn kernel thinking it's prawn as they were all coated in a golden batter. That said, this bite sized morsel with its salted egg fragrance was dangerously addictive and definitely a must order.

If you're craving for roast duck and am looking for an alternative to Dian Xiao Er, check out them out!

Known for using the best Irish duck famed for its quality, these ducks are also coined the 'Wagyu of Ducks'. The Roast Duck skin boasts a gentle crackle, unlike the peking duck version. Juicy and tender, not every slice was as fatty as I'd like it to be but still tasty nevertheless.

London Fat Duck has been on my to-try list ever since they first opened in Singapore, and I finally paid them a visit for dinner last night! πŸ˜…

Their signature London Roast Duck is definitely a must order! It’s so deliciously unctuous, and just look at that glistening skin! 😍 We also tried other dishes like Salted Egg Corn & Prawn (this is rich and pretty addictive!), Mapo Tofu (fragrant and mildly spicy, and it goes so well with rice!), Signature Black Pepper Duck Bun (not bad, the bun had a nice texture with peppery notes, while the tender duck filling had a nice sweet flavour!) and Crispy London Duck Snow Bun (we felt this was pretty average compared to the Black Pepper Duck Bun.).

Lotus Chips & Pumpkin w/ Salted Egg Sauce ($10.80)
I liked this dish for the strong salted egg flavour and the grainy texture, which coated the Lotus Chips and Pumpkin pretty well. A great snack to have with your meal!
