Simply da bomb! I just couldn’t stop myself from eating leg after leg!

I understand that the creation of Singapore's black pepper crab is actually attributed to Long Beach Seafood Restaurant in 1959. Wow. That's more than 50 years! Black pepper crab is now one of the most popular ways of eating crab in Singapore! It doesn't really come with a lot of sauce like the chilli crab. The crab is coated with a layer of fragrant and delicious black pepper sauce. It complement the fresh and succulent flesh so well. Importantly, it doesn't overpower the natural flavours of the crab meat.

Love that the chilli sauce is spicy with little hints of sweetness. Not overly sweet. The crab is also very fresh and the crab meat was succulent! Yum yum! 😍

Succulent, umami-filled and very meaty. Best of all, they can help you deshell (last pic) if you wish. Great for executives lunching there without messing up their hands and maybe even their clothes. Thumbs up for the food quality and service.

We highly enjoyed the scallop with asparagus ($24) that’s very worth-it considering there were 6 well-cooked & tasty scallops, crispy #babysquid ($16), and fried rice with bean sprouts ($16) that was not too oily and had yummy crispy Ikan Billis. The #drunkenprawn ($25) had a rich and tasty soup with strong prawn flavour and fresh prawns. The #deermeat ($20) was tender with nice black pepper sauce and pairing with onions & capsicums but it is slightly oily. Overall, #longbeach is a good option to enjoy high quality Chinese food with great service and ambience
