Pretty much enjoyed this Kaisen Barachirashi Don 🍚 ($20++) at @echizensg @operettacornerbar, which features a medley of salmon & tuna sashimi 🍣, unagi, ebi 🦐, tamago 🍳, cucumber 🥒, ikura & tobiko! 🌟
.
Nothing can be more gratifying that seeing this array of seafood lying atop a bed of fluffy Japanese rice! 😍 Sashimi was fresh & chunky, with a generous amount of tobiko & some popping ikura which added some umami to the bowl. 👏🏻
.
Be warned that the portion is quite small (probably enough for a lady but might not be the case for a hungry man 😂). Oh yes, this came with a small serving of miso soup 🥣 too.

Ordered two pasta dishes with the 1-for-1 Burpple Beyond deal. Pastas were not bad but pricey without the deal. Restaurant is conveniently located right beside Telok Ayer MRT and very easy to get to.

Front - Anatra Confit Con Prosciutto E Crema ($29): Duck leg confit, parma ham, Porcini mushroom, cream sauce.
Back - Garganelli Con Salsa Tatufata E Porcini ($28): Minced pork, parmesan cheese, creamy truffle sauce, Porcini mushroom.
Prices above are before GST.

We personally preferred the Garganelli because it was a lot more flavourful and impressionable, probably because of the truffle sauce.

Extremely dry and tasteless, very difficult to swallow. Plain bun with a few thin parma ham and cheese slices. Disappointing.

The lunch pricing is very affordable ($12 for this beef bolognese), and it's even cheaper with Burpple 1for1 deal. It's hard to find places that serve such good beef ragout. Will return again if I'm craving good bolognese!

This Italian restaurant in the CBD area has an unpretentious, laid-back atmosphere for some authentic Italian food.

Make sure you get one of the pastas as your main. While every pasta option on the menu sounded awesome, we ordered their pasta of the day, seafood pasta and the pasta is cooked perfectly al-dente. Kudos to the boss and Assistant manager for giving us tiramisu for my girlfriend who's celebrating her birthday! They're amazing at service and personal touch even though we went for the burpple beyond promo. 5 stars to this place!

Aglio Olio w sautéed mushrooms and chicken bits (tho the amount of chicken seemed to be srsly lacking); this was 1 darn good plate of pasta thanks to my colleague who recommended going down to this corner shop nearby our workplace for Friyay lunch🍝🍻
