Needing some comfort food today for our late dinner. Give a try @lorducklefeng . Expecting some braised goodness here but was disappointing.😕😕 We ordered Signature Braised Duck with Yam Rice ($9.30 per plate)

I would say the worth mentioning is the soup have a nice Angelica herb and flavourful tofu. The duck meat is pretty hard and cold. Yam rice is dry as it will chocked if don't pair with the soup. Egg is pretty acceptable. I felt the price is steeper for the standard. Perhaps, I will go early for my next round not at 9 plus for tender braised duck.🤣🤣🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ I prefer there will be some cucumber too. 🤔🤔

The famous Redhill Lor Duck Rice and Noodle had recently opened a new Lor Duck outlet at Clementi Mall. I was excited to try-out their signature braised duck platter that came with 2 braised side dishes. Overall, the duck meat was lean and had a firm texture paired well with their subtle herbal braising sauce. But the highlight of the meal was surprisingly ~ their fragrant and flavourful yam rice which was cooked to the perfect fluff texture packed with generous portion of fried shallots and chunks of yam in every mouthful. 😋
