Journey to the west was indeed a troubled one; waking up early, unfamiliar geographical location, drenched in rain, long queue, decided to queue and uncle declared sold out for the day, went back 2nd time and repeat step 1.

So much obstacles before I could lay my hands on a bowl of hot piping gooey lor mee filled with generous amount of crisps. And since already travelled so far, might as well 'dabao' few more packets to make the trip worthwhile. 😂
Best Lor Mee I've had in Singapore! Do ask for the pork belly instead of the lean meat when you're there - but be prepared for a long queue when you're there on a weekend - I waited about 1.5 hours today!

Now his back in action but the shop will be close on (mon,tues,fri) so when it's open do expect a queue of 1hrs plus. The Famous Bukit Purmei Lor Mee has reopened at Blk 501 West Coast Drive, the same coffeeshop where the original Ah Hoe Mee Pok is located. I queued for 1.5 hour on Sunday. Do note, the stall is closed on Mon, Tue and Fri.
