That's the first mystery. This is a bowl of pork and spinach soup, accompanied by dry noodles. But it can also be a different presentation of bcm. The second mystery is is this Xin Mei or Mei Xin? I've wanted to try this for a decade but there were two names and when I finally came, the menu looks similar, but the stall felt different. In any case, it's a very hearty meal. The noodle used is rare, paired with decent seasoning. The soup is chock full. That dumpling was very crispy.

Finally make a long trip all the way to this place for the prawn noodle. For those who taking public transport, you can reach here by taking bus no. 6 from Pasir Ris Bus Interchange.

I ordered the $5 portion which still a sufficient portion to me. Comes with 5 pieces of sliced prawn with lots of fried shallots. and the prawn broth was delicious that I finish the whole bowl.

Even though it’s located at industrial side, I still need to queue 45 mins Saturday morning for this bowl.
Feature Big Prawn Noodle.
Mix noodle with beehoon served with flavours prawn broth, prawn and top up egg and pork skin.
The soup really tasty , the downside from this bowl is the prawn not fresh, some of the prawn mushy.
💰$9 ( plus top up $2 for egg and pork skin).

64 Loyang way.

Came here all the way to try their prawn noodles. Worth the trip and def worth the calories. A pity that the lady in front of me ordered the last bowl of pork + prawn noodles 😭

Ordered the medium bowl with no chilli. The dark sauced that was mixed in the noodles taste like the wanton mee sauce we always had. The soup is very savoury and it came with quite a big bowl. Overall eating experience is good.

Raining days calls for some hot soupy food like prawn noodles. This is the one I had yesterday, after a long drive to Loyang and another one-hour queue.

Pictured is the dry version of their prawn noodles, and it is very good. The sambal was strong and savoury and not too spicy, while the sauce came with enough shallots for the fragrance. And there was more than enough sauce to coat the noodles from start to finish.
🔸
And this was served with a big bowl of prawn broth. The broth was very rich broth - filled with flavour from prawns and pork bones. It was sweet but leaned towards being too sweet, and quite a bit of MSG was used. Overall, still a potent bowl of soup.
🔸
Also remember to add an additional dollar for that runny lava egg, and another $1 for generous amount pork skin (not pictured in this bowl) which is fried till it's like fish maw.

Located deep inside the Loyang Industrial Estate, Big Prawn Noodles is housed inside a food centre that is bustling with people working around the vicinity. A good bowl of prawn noodles can be judged by the colour of the broth and the first impression that this brings totally excites me when my order landed on the tray. It’s anyone’s guess as to how much of prawn heads and pork bones were used into making the stock but seeing its orange hue, they definitely didn’t scrimp on it. At a price point of $5 (pictured), $7 or $9, it is worth every buck with the quality that you’re getting and the number of fresh prawns in each bowl. If only it was more accessible, we would surely patronize here more often.
