Luan Jie Mei Shi (Amoy Street Food Centre)

This place opens early in the morning, selling local Chinese style breakfast such as their signature chee cheong fun.

Very simple with just sweet and chilli sauce, seasoned with sesame on the top. Recommend to get their chee cheong fun with set options, such as the one like mine with a piece of yam cake.

This was quite nice!! The ccf was soft and chewy, texture was v nice - quite comparable to duo ji at Chinatown market. The savoury-sweet sauce was tasty, but lacked a bit of that sesame fragrance compared to duo ji. Bought the soon kueh ($1 each) for my dad too, he said it was nice but really smol, he prefers the one at yuhua. The uncle is quite friendly! Will come back for the ccf, also wanna try their other stuff :)
