We were allocated a seat outdoor which I felt that it was very warm though it was after 8pm..

Burrata🧀🥓-$20
It came with crispy bacon which was quite surprising as we thought that it would come with rock melon, but surprisingly the Burrata w bacon was awesome! I love it!

Frutti Di Mare🦑🦐 -$28
Seafood pizza which was good but it would be better if there were to make the crust more crispy as it was soggy due to all the seafood on top.

Veal Cheek🐄- $28
Veal was soft and there was no smell, this dish is great. ;)

Overall the experience was a great one and would definitely come back. I would rate it 8/10

Choose the grilled octopus
Pumpkin risotto had no pumpkin taste, but the veal was nice with the red wine jus
Witch Italian coffee was nice too.

Loved the buttery taste and garlic in the vongole! The veal cheek risotto is SO tender and well seasoned. Really enjoyable meal! We had truffle fries too, and peach and passionfruit soda for my friend and myself respectively.

The staff are really friendly too! Good recommendations, helpful - just all sorts of good. Enjoyed the quietness of this place.

Come at night for alfresco dining!

This was one of my repeat visits to this place, and the pizza never disappoints. This Carne pizza was honestly the best pizza I’ve eaten in 2020, and with the Entertainer app it became a real steal :-)

The carbonara was too salty though, so it was a bit of a sad experience. It was nice to the taste at first but grew progressively gelat, so not really my thing. Will try another item next time!

We were lured here by the very favourable TripAd reviews. The best thing about our lunch was the outstanding waitress Son - extraordinarily friendly, full of energy, and exceptionally efficient. The other nice thing about Lucca’s is that it’s also a mini retail shop, and you can buy their wine at 20% discount for immediate consumption. We only ordered signature dishes. The most important thing in Italian cuisine is quality of the ingredients. Yet, the mussels were not fresh, and that was masked by the mediocre sauce. Pasta is supposed to be cooked al dente, but the squid ink was overcooked (too soft) while the pappardelle was undercooked (too hard)! Sauces were good. All reviewers rave about the calzone. They must not have had calzone before, because this one is quite meh! Ultimately, with Italian food, you get what you pay for. So, either pay up and go to Garibaldi, Basilico, Braci, Art, or Bistecca Tuscan Steakhouse for steaks, or just go to Pizza Express lah! Even with the Entertainer offer and in spite of the charming Son, we won’t go back anytime soon.
