we had the calzone & their carbonara paired with a drink! while we sat outdoors the vibes were nice and the food was really satisfying! my only qualm would be that it was ever so slightly salty to me but my pal enjoyed it tremendously!! would come back again ☺️

Wanted to try the extraordinary folded pizza. It was priced at $28 with mushrooms and pork sausages. Was really big and had to pack a portion home. Was tasty, not too dry. The serving of appetiser bread was only one set and was chargeable for the second. Total bill of one pasta, one calzone, one gelato milkshake and wine cost $51.80 with 1-1 Burpple. Indoors was full. We sat outside and ambience was great. Was told by the waitress that they are ending the 1-1 deal with Burpple on 31 March as they are focusing on Entertainer. What a waste!

Classic Shake flavour that won’t go wrong. Not too sweet either. But perhaps quite pricey to experience a vanilla flavoured shake😂 but as a #burpplebeyond user it was pretty worth it.

Was so excited to try this. Pistachio in gelato shake form !? It tastes just like what you’d expect. But honestly, after trying it, I’d rather eat my pistachio as a gelato scoop of ice cream, rather than in milkshake form. It didn’t strike me as a suitable, drinkable flavour of ice cream😂 but if you never try, you’d never know. Perhaps, it could be the milkshake for you!

The beef lasagna has its pasta sheets apparently home made. However, it does not really stand out from the other lasagnas I’ve had before, other than the fact that it’s generous with its meat sauce. In fact, the pasta was a bit to the mushier side - which was really not a good texture to chew into for and enjoyable pasta dish.

Lucca’s pride themselves on being authentic italian cuisine, and I’m pretty sure it’s as authentic as it can get in Singapore. Similar to this carbonara, it tastes authentic. Creamy but not from those prepacked Alfredo cream sauce, genuinely tossed in egg yolk and cheese. Great char to the pasta, probably from the bacon - wait bacon !? I guess this is how it differs from the authentic carbonara dish with guanciale. Nonetheless, I am not a purist when it comes to carbonara - and this carbonara by Lucca’s serves as a testament that even if you’re not 100% authentic, it’s equally delicious as well. I Guess the only gripe I have is that it’s too small!😂
