Hit up a classic CBD lunch spot at Lunar Coffee Brewers before WFH and CB kicked in. If you’re working/ living near CBD, you can consider them for your lunch option.

This is the creamy variant of carbonara. Spaghetti was cooked al dente and it wasn’t too salty. It can be rather food coma inducing as evidenced by the copious amount of cream. But the texture of the sauce remained consistent and didn’t become lumpy as you start eating it.

I like how they serve both filtered still and sparkling water if you dine in. Quite an uncommon sight in Singapore’s F&B outlets.

Available for takeaway and delivery on your preferred food delivery platforms.

Lunar’s coffee shines as always. The beans are their house blend that’s sourced from 2 Degrees North Coffee Co. The flat white is easy to drink for those who aren’t the biggest fan of strong coffee. There’s a balanced mix of milk and espresso. It’s aromatic, nutty with hints of cocoa.

It can be rather decadent to have steak don for lunch but it’s something that you could consider to perk up your afternoon. Beef slices marinated in soy sauce cooked medium, an onsen egg, garnished with fried garlic and spring onion. I found the beef to be slightly chewy but nonetheless, I enjoyed it.

They do a rendition of this in every of their other cafe since Atlas, and it has never been altered or taken out of any menu; that says a lot in itself I believe. It’s hard not to like this simple yet satisfying bowl of Miso-Nori Salmon Soba, with its perfect onsen egg, tender poached salmon, tasty miso-nori butter, and pickle-like warm shimeji mushrooms. A very reliable lunch pick when I feel super uninspired.

I know it’s not a traditional cold brew with just fresh milk poured in to serve, but there’s something about this exceedingly creamy, chocolatey, and slightly sweet bottled brew that’s so so delicious

This is not your Japanese fluffy pancake but it is soft (though a little too dense) on the inside and crispy at the sides. The strawberry is sweet and you can never go wrong with pairing strawberries with pancakes and maple syrup.

I did enjoy this dish and will order this again.
