If you havenโ€™t heard of this aesthetic bubble tea brand, @machimachi_singapore is apparently one of Jay Chouโ€™s faves and was even featured in his music video โ€˜Won't Cryโ€™ (๐˜ฃ๐˜ต๐˜ธ ๐˜ญ๐˜ฐ๐˜ท๐˜ฆ ๐˜ต๐˜ฉ๐˜ข๐˜ต ๐˜ด๐˜ฐ๐˜ฏ๐˜จ ๐ŸŽต)

We went to the branch near Haji Lane - absolutely loved the minimalistic sign above the seats outside (๐Ÿ“ท ๐˜จ๐˜ณ๐˜ฆ๐˜ข๐˜ต ๐˜ฑ๐˜ฉ๐˜ฐ๐˜ต๐˜ฐ ๐˜ฐ๐˜ฑ๐˜ฑ) as well as the pretty bottles (๐˜ ๐˜ข๐˜ค๐˜ต๐˜ถ๐˜ข๐˜ญ๐˜ญ๐˜บ ๐˜ค๐˜ข๐˜ณ๐˜ณ๐˜ช๐˜ฆ๐˜ฅ ๐˜ช๐˜ต ๐˜ข๐˜ญ๐˜ญ ๐˜ต๐˜ฉ๐˜ฆ ๐˜ธ๐˜ข๐˜บ ๐˜ฉ๐˜ฐ๐˜ฎ๐˜ฆ ๐˜ข๐˜ฏ๐˜ฅ ๐˜ธ๐˜ข๐˜ด๐˜ฉ๐˜ฆ๐˜ฅ ๐˜ง๐˜ฐ๐˜ณ ๐˜ณ๐˜ฆ๐˜ถ๐˜ด๐˜ฆ)

Surprisingly this was my fave, as the refreshing nature helped beat the hot weather, plus the smooth texture and slight sourness of the plum jello at the bottom of the bottle really stood out ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

I ordered this just #forthegram and kinda regretted it ๐Ÿ˜… Donโ€™t get me wrong, I actually quite enjoyed the sweet strawberry milk, but the creamy panna cotta made this feel more like a dessert than a drink, and was quite heavy after lunch that I still felt bloated till dinner timeโ€ฆ so I would recommend sharing with someone ๐Ÿ˜Œ

Yes, Iโ€™ll give it a second chance and would probably try their tea-based drinks next time ๐Ÿต

Strawberry Latte with Panna Cotta
Ice blended with sweet and juicy strawberries and milk then laden with their smooth and sweet panna cotta. This creamy drink is a well-balanced creation with a silky taste, just like a drinkable dessert. It is recommended to consume this within 30mins and the ice/sugar level is fixed ใ€‹$8.50

Black Milk Tea with Panna Cotta
This is prepared with ice blended black tea then mellowed in flavour from the addition of milk and sugar. The tea has a strong and robust flavour while the smooth panna cotta is already sweet on its own. The bitter aftertaste from the black tea complemented well with the sweetness from panna cotta. The sugar level is customisable but ice is fixed ใ€‹$7.50

strawberry panna cotta was pretty good!! but had to be drank fast (which was hard because of how rich it is) as the milk will start to oxidise.

i much preferred the black tea panna cotta!! it was v fragrant and not as sweet, which paired really well with the thick panna cotta

Milk Tea felt a bit lighter than usual in the bottled black milk tea w/ panna cotta. The panna cotta when mixed up with the drink adds a delicate creamy texture to the milk tea, but I couldnโ€™t make out its vanilla flavour very well. The staff told me the panna cotta was a vanilla-esque pudding so thatโ€™s why I was expecting strong vanilla nodes in there. I guess the good thing about the panna cotta was that it was not too sweet at all, perhaps only at the end when u suck it all up, and also because my milk tea was at zero sweetness level. However, I was still hoping that there was some semblance of taste to it, and there was only a mildly sweet and creamy one, which did not seem the most value adding to me. I donโ€™t hate it, but I just donโ€™t see how itโ€™s great. Ultimately, itโ€™s decent, and I do seem to still prefer their non-signature black milk tea w/ grass jelly.

Thought the black milk tea here was lighter than usual but still pretty good! I like the grass jelly option more than the panna cotta because thereโ€™s a slight sweetness to it and more towards my palate. But do note that the grass jelly in this is more of a compact jello, so I personally like to mix it up before I drink to even out the sweetness. If not it might get way too sweet just when youโ€™re about to finish!

black tea taste was strong but pleasant, panna cotta complemented it really well! although after a while the two mixed together and it became rather thick and creamy, but still enjoyed it! would recommend getting no sugar for this, as panna cotta itself is quite sweet :)
