The chicken was grilled nicely with a charred flavour to it, and was tender. The mushroom risotto had some vegetables, but the mushroom flavour was distinctly strong. Texture was slightly chewy and not too watery. The garlic snowing pizza is always a must order here, with shrimps, cheese, sweet garlic sauce, garlic chips and sprinkled with parmesan cheese when served. The crust was thin crust and was crispy and complemented the ingredients on the pizza. Shrimps were fresh and plump and garlic chips were crunchy and freshly fried.
Portion looked small but recommended to share as it was very creamy and might get jelak. There was a decent portion of prosciutto ham, garlic chips and some greens in the risotto dish, adding flavour to the risotto. I enjoyed the texture too, as it wasnโt too dry or watery, and the chewiness of the rice bits were just nice.

This carbonara was done the authentic way with the sauce made of eggs and cheese instead of cream. We were really looking forward to this because we are all suckers for truffle but this kinda disappointed us as the truffle aroma was really faint.

Mad for Garlic definitely impressed us! Would definitely recommend getting their Garlic Snowing and Tom Yam Pizzas and the Garlic Ragu Fettucine. The portions were VERY generous, with each pizza having 8 big slices, 5 girls shared 4 mains and found it just enough! ๐คฉ๐คฉ Interestingly, we couldnโt taste much garlic in the dishes, apart from eating the whole cloves, or maybe we were expecting really garlicky dishesโฆ but we enjoyed our meal! Mad for Garlic doesnโt take reservations, so do come earlier to queue as it can get quite crowded.

The sauce was RICH and the beef cubes were cooked till tender and absorbed the ragu sauce really well. Okay one thing though: the whipped cream on top was definitely uncommon and we werenโt very sure what it was for but we guess it made the dish more interesting andโฆcreamy?

This was the wildcardโฆnone of us had ever had a tom yum pizza before and we were surprised that it worked! It was definitely more of a creamy tom yum sauce on the pizza, the lime - which brought sourness and acidity made it really palatable!

The favourite for the night! The garlic snowing pizza convinced us that pineapples belong on pizzas HAHA the cheese is shaved at your table to bring the โsnowingโ element! Kudos to the staff who went and got a second block of cheese after we wanted more (oops!) The finely diced pineapple really added a fresh sweetness that went SO well with the cheese.
