Mad for Garlic is Korea’s first garlic-themed Italian restaurant. The unique concept made its debut in 2001 through Mad for Garlic’s first restaurant in Apgujeong-dong, an affluent entertainment and residential district in southern Seoul. With its unique and innovative menu with garlic-specialized Italian cuisine and an excellent selection of wines, Mad for Garlic soon became one of Korea's most popular restaurant chains. Rather than having a central kitchen system, at Mad for Garlic, the entire cooking process starts with raw materials in the kitchen of each branch to bring fresh food to the table. In 2013, Mad for Garlic was voted by Korea Times and Korea Herald as the Best Performing Italian Restaurant concept in Korea. Currently, there are 40 branches in Korea, two branches in Hong Kong and one in Singapore.

If you have no idea what to eat here, going for this pizza can't go wrong. My partner was too eager to eat before I took the picture as you can see:)

Loved the garlic sizzling rice ($25)! It's flavourful and the fish roe added a nice crunch to it. Garlic isnt overpowering either. They were very generous with the mushrooms in the risotto ($25), and the chicken is tender and juicy as well. Would recommend these two dishes. They only serve bottled water, so we got a Yuja ade ($7) to go with our meal. The soda is refillable though.
Used burpple beyond 1-1, but unsure if I'd pay full price to dine here.

Great thin and crispy pizza, and the Snowing Garlic pizza lived up to its role of being their signature dish, with its strong but not overpowering flavour of garlic and uniquely sweet pizza sauce. The Meatarian pizza was uninspired, but done well so at least there's that.

However, I'll recommend to give the pasta a miss, or at least skip the Ragu Fettuccine and the Triple Garlic Seafood Pasta. The former was extraordinarily ordinary, and the latter was so spicy as to overwhelm most of the other flavours. The only saving grace was that at least the pasta was al dente, but for an original price of 25++ I was expecting more finesse.

Use Burpple Beyond 1-for-1 and save some money, but even then, I'll stick to the pizza.

Garlic formagi I probably spelled it wrong but it’s so good🥰 carbonara was really creamy too. But on the salty side

Their signature dish. Very fragrant. Be prepared to fart alot later if you are easily flatulent ahhahah

A of the best pizza joint around. For those who like thin crust pizza, this is the place to go.

But for pasta, is more on the average side
