Mad Nest is one of a great place to chill. They serve Thai, Japanese and Indian cuisine. All 3 in 1 restaurant. We had the Japanese Cuisine this time round. Sushi was mediocre.

If you are looking for a casual place to chill out in the neighborhood with friends or a dinner date, this is the place.
Frequented this place at least 5-6 time in the past 4 weeks, just love sitting outdoors as I enjoy the lovely cross winds ( they also have a spacious indoor option where you can enjoy a game of darts)
As for food, they have an array of cuisines to choose from. Thai, Japanese, Chinese, Indian, Asian, Italian and a good Western Breakfast too.
I keep coming back for this Thai style Sea-bass Steamed in an aromatic , spicy and zesty sauce. You will want to pair it with nothing else but just some simple steamed rice.
At $25 for a decent sized fish. It is a good value for your $$
Plus no restaurant can you good without a set of hardworking, efficient and friendly staff . The staff at this place have it all.

2nd option to shiok maki at Koh grill & sushi. This dish is full of mayo, 1 cube of salmon, unagi, avocado. Sinful little dish. ($18)

Coming back to try their food someday. Mad Nest, have that great east-sider lepark-one-side good vibes. Swing by for food, cause they serve great menu of Japanese, North Indian and "Italian-Asian". Or be like me, swinging by for a great, chill-out midweek or lazy Sunday. The interior is artsy in some sense, douse in white and warm light. The alfresco is along the East Coast Road itself, great for people watching and wind-down session.

Just did my wisdom tooth surgery, and really need some soft food like this. Thank you all the well-wishes, I'm still alive and wasn't as bad as in wild imagination 😥 #madnest served several type of cuisine, from Jap, Thai to Indian and even western and Tsi char. It has really nice white lightning (good for food taking) and 2 dart machines to play as well. I guess it's a really good place for small groups of friends for a chill quiet get together.
