And appreciate that the cup is more secure than the usual ones. But do feel that coffee places that don’t offer the option of ceramic cups for dine-in are missing something. Noticed most customers were ordering the ang moh coffee options so shall have to try that next time

This was the recommended and most popular brioche. It was a little underwhelming because it was a small slice and the flavour of the brioche was overpowered by the crushed choco biscuit bits on top. Would have liked to taste the chocolate flavour from the brioche itself

We got this with the brioche set and topped up to a total of $7+. The drink was nice, a good balance of coffee and matcha flavours but we found that the price was a little steep for the small size.

Heard about this famous coffee stall in Amoy Street Food Centre and got to give this a try!

I had the Kopi Peng Siew Dai ($2.40) which was coffee with less condensed milk. This was a superb cup of coffee. Extremely smooth, this coffee was a strong brew and wasn't too milky. The beans used were really aromatic too! This is actually already better than coffee from some of the cafes I've had!

I can imagine this being my regular cup of coffee if I work around here. Thank you for brewing such good coffee! @madroaster

$5.20/cup, +1 for oat milk and +$0.50 for iced. This set me back at $6.70, pretty much around the same price as an ice drink from established coffeehouses. It was a relief that the flavoursome drink did justice to the steep price point - imagine rich, matcha notes with a good balance of freshly brewed coffee! I intentionally tasted the coffee (sipping only at the top) and matcha milk (sipping through the straw at the bottom) separately to assess the individual flavours - the matcha was wowww! While the coffee layer was pretty much the same as a typical cold brew. Following a good stir, a dirty green appeared. Each sip was velvety smooth - with coffee, matcha and sweet notes all hitting a right balance! Now, bearing in mind the social cause of Mad Roaster, I would gladly pay for another cup again!
