The soup is very flavourful though looks deceivingly bland. Seafood are abundant, topped up an extra dollar for big prawns and is totally worth it. The prawn is fresh and has a 'muscular' bite, can't get any fresher than that. The best thing is that they serve sambal belachan which elevated the umami-ness of the seafood. Portion is great, finished the beehoon before the ingredients. Worth a try!

I feel that this is a very very underrated place that deserves more attention (even though its salted egg neighbour gets more attention). The beehoon, though not the most flavourful I've eaten, still tastes very homely and they gave a lot of ingredients. Good for 2 small eaters, but I still happily finished it. Their pork chop rice was fantastic as well. The owners are SUPER friendly, chatted with them for a bit while waiting for our order, and they repeatedly assured us that our food was coming soon. Will be back again.

The pork chop is huge. Generous amount of curry and rice. Definitely value for money at this place in town.

It was that good.

First and foremost, the oysters were plump and fresh, and bursted in the mouth for a torrent of seafood umami. But the highlight was in the hash brown looking omlette. The exterior had an unbelievably satisfying crunch, and it effortlessly shattered to reveal its fluffy eggy interior.

Honestly, it's better than a lot of famous orh luak I'd tried; was not expecting this from a zichar kitchen at far east plaza.

Value for money ($4.80 & it comes with a fried egg)!
Fragrant pork chop and generous portion. Pro-tip: Eat with their sambal belacan.

I was super excited about this place after reading all the great reviews. Sadly not everything you see on the Internet is to be believed. This white bee hoon in particular was super bland. The prawns were big and fresh though. Other let downs were the oyster omelette--while the oysters were big and juicy, the omelette itself was fried within an inch of its life and was dry. The olive and mince meat fried rice, seafood char kway teow and Ngoh hiang were decent.

The icing on this bad cake was when we asked for a cup of hot water to warm up my child's milk in. We were charged 50cents. Definitely not coming back here any time soon.
