I really like this place. I thought this dish has interesting ingredients and it's dry so I tried it. Mix it up and it was decent. The tofu however was quite meh. Soup at this restaurant was obviously delicious. Separately, I was surprised they have a self-service kiosk with free-flow cucumber.
Help yourself to them, all of them were pretty decent
What's unique are the sauces and condiments, for example the douchi(fermented black soybean). It's strong and authentic, goes well w their milder items
The toppings, esp the trio of minced meat, were all intense and well executed. However the tofu suffocates everything, making it too mild and just tasting like tofu pudding
Blasphemous as it is, I would advise you to remove the tofu and eat it separately alongside the sides, the noodles would be much much more intense.
served w a pork bone broth which looks like that of the guoqiao mixian but it's not, however it's still very mild as well
The soup base was not as bland as it seemed. The mixian had a nice bite too. Everything here was above average, but the broth could have been less diluted
Worth a try if you're in the area
Tbh all of them were not bad, even those I didn't expect to work well, like siobak worked incredibly well
Decent
It's got a bite, somewhat unique texture. The aroma wasn't strong but the mild heat made it acceptable
