Basil Pork Lunch Set ($7.80):
Comes with Basil Pork rice, a drink and side dish.
I picked ice thai milk tea, which was not too sweet and tom yum soup for my side dish. The tom yum soup is rather appetizing, spicy and sour! The basil pork is very flavorful and it goes very well with the rice and fried egg. Overall, this lunch set is really worth the price.

Surprising find in our bowl of mala today! The luncheon meat was turned into spam fries and our fish fillet turned out fried! Super shiok!! Went for 大辣 but I feel the spice level could go even higher! Still, super bombass, I love it! ♥️

Located at third floor of the bugis street. Must order their pad Thai and chicken Wing (sgd 1.50 per pair).

Some variants of Phad Thai can end up being rather flat-tasting but this one here seems pretty balanced. Served piping hot, the noodles were slurpy with a bit of chew — a balance of sweet and savoury though I wouldn’t mind if it would come with a little bit of wok-hei. Seafood includes squid and prawns; the former wasn’t too rubbery while the latter were fresh — liked how they removed the shells here for easier eating which was pretty thoughtful. Wouldn’t mind having this again!

Had always been wanting to check out this stall by the corner of Bugis Street and very thankful that I finally remembered to make my visit there after years. Crisp chicken wings that’s all freshly fried which comes marinated with turmeric and a bit of lemongrass, the flesh were succulent and juicy whilst coming off the bones effortlessly and cleanly — the marinade helping to enhance the flavours by adding a subtly refreshing yet savoury taste without trying to overwhelm. Could definitely do with another serving at the table!

PS: order the Tom Yam Soup (or the Mini Mushroom Tom Yam Soup from the set deal if you are alone) — not overly sour but still carrying quite a punchy kick in terms of spiciness; pretty shiok overall.

Located at Bugis Street level 3, the seafood tom yum w beehoon was really yummy ~ it's different from the usuals I had cause they added milk inside so it taste really fragrant yet not overly sour and still has the spicyness in it. Priced at $4.50 I think its good for such a bowl of nicely done tom yum.
