Ice chendol.. the most basic of the varieties on offer at the restaurant. Really good on a hot and muggy day

Probably one of best chendol which I have come across. Credit to the owner making all ingredients fresh. Gula which is explained as sweet palm sugar is the key ingredient to this fabulous dessert.

Difference between Singapore n Melaka chendol is that they don’t used coconut milk like we do thus less rich but it gives a clean taste.

Indeed all good dessert will have variation and this no exception for the chendol sold here.

Choices of red bean, corn and durian fillings can be chosen and if you want to pampered yourself, you can ask for all three which is less than 2 dollars.

Overall is a worthy snack on a hot day and the shop also sell other snacks like curry puffs. I believe they have another branch in Jurong West but do search in Burpple to confirm.

If u do come by drop by and try and shop is facing the Changi food center diagonal to Charlie’s corner who is famous for western food n burgers.

Costing only a mere $1.50 for the basic cendol or $1.80 if you add in sweet corn or red bean, this is a satisfying bowl of shaved ice with the essential coconut milk and gula melaka syrup. The tinge of savouriness from the coconut milk and sweetness from the gula melaka makes it an impeccable pairing.

Makan Melaka (Changi Village) Durian Chendol (💵S$2.10) Durian, Coconut Milk, Gula Melaka (Sugar) & Pandan flavoured Pasta like starch. 🍧

Balancing Sweet & Savoury well, Sugar & Salt, the cornerstone of seasoning, of Civilisation basically. Aromatic & perfect for the hot afternoon plus they use real durian flesh instead of paste. 😋

ACAMASTIPS💮: Coming from a Peranakan, this is good enough to satisfy your chendol cravings. Don't have to travel all the way to Melaka or Penang. 🏵

The chendol had a hint of saltiness which was quite unique and made the dessert not so jelak. The shaved ice was quite fine too. I heard they make their own chendol; no wonder it was so tender. Damn shiok for a sweltering afternoon.

This has got to be the BEST Chendol I've ever eaten, and the only one that I will ever eat (for now)!! If you do not really like strong coconut taste, this is for you. This is a perfect combination of sweet and salty flavours - a mixture of savory and sweetness. This is all found in the main few ingredients - the homemade (mind you HOMEMADE) pandas jelly that's super fragrant, the coconut which is sweet and light, and the most important of all... The GULA MELAKA...!! The GULA Melaka was just like having salted caramel drizzle all over the Chendol. When you mix it together it is just an interesting but yet good blend of sweet and salty flavours done perfectly right. This is surely a very special Chendol and one you cannot miss. What's more, you won't feel jelat at all! The colour of the pandan jelly is definitely different from the normal ones you find outside, and that's because it is homemade. The texture is good too. The price? It's $1.50 for a normal bowl which I thought it not too bad (isn't it?). This is just the original one - you can add on more ingredients like sweet corn, glutinous rice, red bean and... DURIAN!! This is definitely worth a try!
