quite cheap mala! ordered a lot and came up to be $15+ only. the 辣 is relatively stronger than other places & it’s a good bowl of mala. just sad they dont have taiwan sausages :-(
I actually bought the 1-for-1 Chope B'day Deal before seeing the online reviews but I think it's only fair to the business for me to share my observations because I just went down to redeem today at noon and I could see corrective actions in place; think the boss was there monitoring the service and so I got my takeaway in 15 mins and the soups (I got the Herbal Brew & Wild Mushroom broth respectively) were hot :)
The rice crisps & mixian can be a little tough to chew even in the broth for elderly but I like the flavourful broths - sorry about the picture because I already started eating but just wanted to show that the broth is really full of the herbal ingredients, I think it's worth a try if they continue to keep up with their service standards & quality control, all the best!
the taste was ok, but served luke warm.. especially when its in claypot bowl, its terrible. there wasn’t even smoke coming out of it. took awhile to serve so i reckon its been sitting there for awhile before serving to me. i wouldn’t order again. 6 choices of base soup.
i haven tried their traditional mala, but paofan is v bad.
