Cuz both MAMA Patissarie & MOTHER Earth says to use own containers instead of plastic bags to save the Earth! ❤❤❤
Packing my healthy Raisin Walnut Wholemeal Loaf ($3.50) in my own container because it is Plastic Free July! 👌🏻
I really love the breads here at Mama Patissarie! 💯 Baked freshly in-house daily, their breads are super soft & fluffy but substantial (not the airy fairy kind)! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 They also have eggless & milkless versions for some breads to cater to your special dietary needs 😊
My gigantic fluffy loaf (these 2quarters makes half the loaf) was loaded with crushed walnuts bits & dried raisins 😍😍😍, imparting a nice nutty & sweet fruity flavours to the wholemeal bread! 💕 This soft stretchy bread certainly made a wholesome breakfast for me! 😋

First time trying their vegetarian chicken floss bun. I advise eating this as quick as you can without disturbing the bun as the floss tends to fall off and makes a mess in the bag if you carry it in a bag and shake it about. The texture of the vegetarian chicken floss is crispier than regular floss, but tastewise it comes pretty close. Perhaps the mayonnaise masks the true taste of the floss, so you really won’t be able to tell it’s vegetarian. I’m not such a fan of this bun due to the mayonnaise filling on and within the bun. Probably wouldn’t buy this again since there’re so many other flavours I love at Mama Patisserie!

Each time I make my way to Mama Patisserie, I’m faced with a happy dilemma - should I buy my favourites, or should I try a new flavour combination if they’re available?

Grabbed the last Sweet Potato Walnut bun off the shelf. Unlike their other buns, this one isn’t stuffed full of filling, but the sweet potato filling is enough to lend some sweetness to the pillowy soft bread. I love the walnuts on top which add some bitter nutty tastes to the bun as well, making this a healthy yet delicious meal/snack/treat.

*Mama Patisserie is FavePay and GrabPay friendly but only if you buy the items at full price! You have to pay by cash if you buy the items at clearance price.

I don’t usually get red bean cos too sweet. But I love cheese. Glad I took the risk. It was basically cream cheese blended with red beans. Not too sweet. A wonderful mix. I left the middle walnut for the last bite. Delicious!

Haven’t tried this before, but I usually don’t get cream cheese buns as I find that they’re too dense and sweet. However, I’d be hard pressed to pass on a $1 bun so I got this when I saw it.

The bun is pretty flat, and it’s filled with a yam-coloured filling which is actually walnuts blended into cream cheese! Surprisingly, the walnuts and cream cheese balanced out really well. I didn’t detect any bitterness commonly associated with walnuts, nor any overly salty or sweet tastes from the cream cheese. Overall a very addictive bun. Wouldn’t mind buying this again at full price or $1 :)

Really can’t help myself from buying bread whenever I’m around Novena after 6pm because all the buns are on clearance at $1.

This time I went for the traditional red bean bun. As with all the breads at Mama Patisserie, the bun is soft and light. They are generous with the red bean filling as well, it’s not completely ground into a smooth paste, so you do get some red bean skins and some larger chunks of beans in the filling, which is lovely for additional texture. I guess the red bean filling is the same as what they use for the Matcha Chestnut bun, which is not too sweet nor bitter either. These guys have got their sweetness levels down to a T.

I haven’t come across a bun I didn’t enjoy at Mama Patisserie and will continue to purchase them whenever I can. Note that you can pay with GrabPay too, but you’ll have to pay full price so only go with that if you’re not buying the items at clearance time.
